As I was on my way to drink yet another bottle of beer, someone caught my hand in time just before I could tilt my head back to gulp the liquid down.

I opened my eyes to look at the culprit, but he only let out an amused chuckle before he pried off the bottle from my hands.

"You no fun." I tried to roll my eyes but ended up dizzying myself, so I closed my eyes again, then lean back against the sofa.

I was trying to rest my head on the headrest, but König quickly yet gently moved me to rest against him instead. Feeling his warm body, I subconsciously move myself to sit on his lap instead. Instantly wrapping myself around him as I snuggle my face in the crook of his neck now that his mask is gone. Leaving him maskless for me to see.

One of his hands comes to stroke her hair while the other one holds her around her waist to prevent her from falling. "Who's bothering you?" He softly asked as his eyes scanned how many bottles she drank.

Roughly counting, it seems she's already down another two, almost three, if he doesn't come right in time to stop her. Just how fast she wanted her mind to be wasted is enough to make him mad at whoever makes her think this much.

It's been almost two years since the last time she's done this. And he's wondering what happened with her. This one is even worse than the worst one she had when she broke up with Keegan. Also beating that one problem she had with Valeria.

If it's not for her to follow König wherever he goes in that hell month, he's sure already killed them both to make his treasure heartbroken like that.

"No ones." Her small voice answered as her hands subconsciously tightened around his body. König started to move his thumb that on her waist to slowly make a circle to relax her mind.

"Everything's good, Liebe. I'm here now." He softly whispers as he feels how her body is slowly relaxing in his hold. He smiles at that.

Then it's fall into silence.

Only the sound of their breathing and a night animal outside is accompanying them.

After the long silence, I don't know what I'm talking about, but I know my mouth is moving to talk to him. "Why it's you?"

König tried to slightly look down at me, just to see that I still closed my eyes. "What do you mean why me?"

"Why you?" I repeated as I subconsciously let out a little pout.

"You." I furrowed my brow at whatever thought I was thinking before I let out a small chuckle. "King. Small King." I slowly open my eyes as I can't hold back my chuckle, and it turned to be a laugh.

I lean back a little to take a look at his face. "Small King." I repeat as I place my hands on each of his shoulders now to hold myself up. Small King was his nickname from me when I first met him. He doesn't like being called as small, so I keep teasing him with that because only with that can I finally get his attention on me back then when I was a child.

The hand of his that stroking my hair is now descending down to join the one holding my waist. "Hm?" He hummed in question as his eyes twinkled with amusement.

"You handsome. But why you is you?" I pout yet again as I cupped his cheeks with both my hands. "If I no know you from I am child, I will love you."

The Colonel raises his brows at my words as he lets out a small smile. "You will love me?"

I nod at the question.

"So you don't love me now?"

I shake my head, but then I stop myself before I furrow my brow. "No. I love you now."
