Chapter 9 - Are You Safe?

After we left the boardwalk, Pezzy drove me around a little bit and we went to his house. We got ready for bed, and laid on the couch, his arms wrapped around me. "What if I help you find a place to rent?" He says staring at the ceiling. "That'd be nice. I mean, I wouldn't be here to be able to physically look at apartments. But you could and see if it's safe enough for me to live in." "I can do some searching and send you some listings. To get you started. But I think first you'll need citizenship." We ended up falling asleep on the couch. Around 4am I woke up to Pezzy slowly shaking me. "Princess. We fell asleep. Come on let's go to bed." "No I'm fine here just leave me" I am way too comfy to move. "I'll carry you then." I grown in response. Next thing I know I'm getting picked up and carried up the stairs and to his bedroom. As soon as I'm under the blanket I snuggle in and fall back asleep.

I woke up around 10, only have four hours until we hangout with the guys. I turn around and see Pezzy facing me, fast asleep. I scoot towards him. "Max. Wake up. We're hanging out with the guys today. Remember. I need to go to the hotel and get ready." He groaned. "Just take my car." What. "Are you sure? I could just call an Uber. It's fine." "Quicker to take my car. Keys are in the kitchen. Don't take too long, I'll miss you" I reach over and kiss him, waking him up a bit more. He kisses me back, with so much passion he's now on top of me. Once he realizes, he moves himself. "Sorry. I'll be here. Don't rush, but I'll miss you." I giggle and head downstairs. Grabbing his keys and getting into his car. I drive to the hotel, find a parking spot and head up. I take a quick shower, and put on my last outfit. I decided to go through a drive thru for breakfast on the way back to Pezzys house. Once I was back, he was just out of the shower, standing in the kitchen with just jeans on.

He caught me staring at him. "What do you want a picture?" He walks over to me and takes the food and drinks, smirking at me. "Honestly, maybe. Who knows how long we'll be apart. But humble yourself." I say smirking back grabbing my sandwich out of the bag. We cuddle on the couch watching random stuff on the tv to pass time. Once it was close to us having to leave, we decided on an Uber so that way we could enjoy ourselves and not have to worry about driving. Surprisingly we were the first to show up. Followed by Puffer and Rectrixx. We all stood there talking about the latest social media gossip, when a girl walked up to the group. "I'm sorry to interrupt, but I was wondering if I can get a picture with you guys?" She asked shyly. The guys agreed and she went to take a selfie with them. "I can take the photo for you guys, it'd look better for the gram." I say not wanting to be that person. "No I want you in it too! You were hilarious during the drinking stream. People are trying to find your socials, you're pretty hidden." She says laughing. "That's the thing about being hidden, no one can find you" I say winking at her. She takes her photos and leaves. Grizzy and Droid show up about five minutes later. We start heading down the street, popping into whatever shops appeal to us. Grizzy and I being behind the rest.

"So. I'm gonna assume that your date went well?" He said acting like he knows it all. "Wow am I the only thing you guys talk about in your private group chat?" I say in disbelief. "Honestly, this whole week all he's talked about is you. Well and your date. And how he doesn't want to see you leave. We've tried to bring up other things. Like games and stream ideas. But you are a recurring topic for him." God maybe Droid was right, I have this man whipped. "Well for your information, yes the date went really well. And we may or may not have kissed. Several times. I can't believe this week went by so fast." Remembering how I fly out tomorrow. Then who knows how long it'll be until I'm back for good. Who knows if the guys will even want to see me again. "Is a kiss that meaningful?" Grizzy pulling me out of my thoughts. "It is when it's someone you only ever dreamed of meeting. And when it's your first kiss ever." Saying the last part a little more quiet hoping he doesn't hear me. Grizzy stopped me before we entered the next shop. "WAIT. First kiss? He was your first? Does that mean you haven't done anything?" He is utter disbelief. "Listen. Not everyone needs to know okay? Hush it. But yes. I've never done anything. Let alone be in a relationship. I didn't think it was necessary to have while in school. I got good grades and that's all that mattered to me." I say as we finally entered the shop. Catching up with the rest of the group. I regroup with Pezzy, who's having an argument with Droid and Rectrixx about which horror game is the best. As soon as Pezzy realizes in near him he reaches out his hand, I take it, him pulling me closer. Puffer walks over to us, giving me the look. I roll my eyes playfully and start looking around.
