Chapter 4 - Here We Are

Pezzy stood up from the booth, putting his arm out. "After you" I stand up, thanking him. "You really don't have to. I mean, you have a visitor in town. You should be spending time with him" as we walk towards the exit. "We see him several times a year. I'm not too worried about it." We walk slowly to the hotel, once outside we stop. "Well..this is where I'm staying. Uhm. Thank you for walking me back, I mean, you really didn't have to." I say looking up at the hotel, and back at the man. "Honestly, fan or not. I'd rather someone be safe rather than walking alone at almost midnight in an unknown city." He says softly smiling at me. "Yeah.. you're right...." The conversation goes quiet for a couple minutes "so you're gonna get an Uber back?" I ask, restarting the conversation, not wanting it to end. "Yeah, this late it shouldn't take too long to get here. And getting back will be like ten minutes." I nod my head. "Oh, would it be weird if I followed you on Twitter?" He said, making me turn my head to him. "No, it wouldn't be weird." I share my username with him "It's the same across all social media, so people don't need to remember other usernames for one person" I say laughing lightly. "Oh well that's good to know, I'll have to search you up later." He says as his Uber arrives. "Oh this is me. Well, it was nice meeting you, Annalise. Maybe we'll meet again one day." He says while shaking my hand. He gets in the vehicle while I turn around and head into the hotel.

Once in my room, I check around the whole room again, setting up all the safety features. I pulled out my phone and again texted the group chat. Just gushing about being so close to be able to touch my favourite streamer. And this is only the traveling day. This doesn't even count as my week here. I layed in bed after getting ready to go to sleep, when a notification popped up. 'Pezzyyx just followed you!' From Instagram followed by ' Pezzy__ just followed you!' From X. A couple minutes later, another notification popped up.

Pezzy__: So does the same username count for Discord as well?

No way he just DM'ed me. Oh god that means he has now seen every reply I've sent about his stories... I stare at the message. Knowing it shows 'seen' at the bottom for him.

Annalise_B: Yes, it does. Uhm sorry about all the replies..this is awkward..😐

Pezzy__: I can ignore them if you'd like. Or I could just message you on Discord if that's better?

Wait he wants to message me more? Like privately talk to me?

Annalise_B: Discord is okay! There's no way of me embarrassing myself there...😅

Immediately a notification from discord popped up. 'Pezzyy added you as a friend!' Wow that was fast, I thought to myself. I clicked accept an immediately there was a message from Pezzy.

Pezzy: So Annalise, how long are you in town for?

Annalise: A week, but depending on how things go I might leave early or stay longer (:

Pezzy: Oh nice so what's the big plans for the week then?

Annalise: Absolutely nothing (: I didn't plan on doing anything besides sight seeing and shopping. The only real thing I wanted to do was eat at Whataburger for the first time haha

Pezzy: Really? No plans? Man that's boring

Annalise: Oh I'm sorry did you expect me to say I was going to museums and on hikes? Haha

Pezzy: Honestly kind of. No one really comes to Texas "for fun" unless they have stuff planned"

Annalise: Well not me...

Then the conversation died down. I was hoping that the conversation would've gone on for longer. But Pezzy didn't reply. He probably got bored of the conversation or fell asleep or is with his friends. Which made me sad to stop talking to him. Because now if I message him first I'll seem like a crazy fan or something. I rolled over, putting my phone on charge and fell asleep.
