The next two days went by fast, it was now Max's last day with me. We woke up around 5am, heading to the little beach at the end of town to watch the sunrise. We get there, setting down a blanket, and just sitting there, watching the waves. "I'm going to miss you, princess." Max says while taking my hand, interlocking our fingers. "I'm going to miss you, too. But only two to three weeks until we find out if I get citizenship. Then we won't have to be apart." I say leaning into his side. We sat quietly, just watching the waves and waiting for the sun to rise. "It is nice how your plane leaves at 10pm..so we at least get the day together. I bet Sly really misses you though." I say sadly. "Droids been sending me updates everytime he went over to my place. She's actually been civil with him, and only tried to scratch him like four times. Even though she knows him. But I do miss her." He says while laughing. The sun rises on the horizon, while we sit there enjoying each other's presence. We head back to my parent's house, my parents on the front porch drinking their coffees. "Max, where'd you take her off too now? You guys were gone before we were up!" My mom laughed. "Mom we just went to the beach to watch the sunrise. It was so quiet and beautiful." I say while Max laughed. "I have to agree, nothing near as nice as that in Texas. Everywhere you go that isn't a nice neighbourhood you find homeless people." He says. "Well hopefully you can help us find Annalise a great neighbourhood. Somewhere close to you and your friends so we know she's safe." My dad says while eyeing Max. "Of course, I don't think the guys and I would be happy if she was too far to be honest. They already love her." He says while I head for the door. "Come on, you suck up. We need to eat." I say while opening the screen door. He follows me in, both of us heading to the kitchen.

"Okay. So we have pancake mix, ingredients for French toast, fruit, frozen waffles, or cereal." I say while looking around the kitchen. "Pancakes sound delicious. Let's make 'em" he says while reaching above me to grab the box from the cupboard. "This just needs water. Easy. I'll mix the batter while you cook them." Max says while I grab a mixing bowl from the bottom cabinet, handing it to him. We make a couple palm sized ones, having a bit of extra batter left over. I reach my finger in and scoop some up, when he wasn't looking. "Max, love. You have something on your face." I say while putting the mixture on his cheek. "Oh do I? Hmm how'd that get there. Oh, how didn't I notice, you have something on your nose." He says while scooping some batter on his own finger, smearing up on my nose. We both laughed, Max pulling me in for a kiss. "Come on, you goofball. Let's eat." We grab our pancakes and sit at the table to eat. "So how are you getting from the airport to your place?" I asked. "Grizzy is going to pick me up, he'll already be there because Rectrixx is flying home today. His plane leaves around 9. So he's just gonna hangout at the airport." He says while eating his last bite. "Oh that works out well. But by the time you guys get back it'll be late. I'll probably stay awake until I know you're home." I say while starting to clean up the dishes from breakfast. Max walks up and start to wash the dishes. "Oh let me do that." I say reaching for the sponge. "No, Princess. You cooked breakfast. I can wash the dishes." He says while reaching away from me. "Max. This is my parents house. You don't need to wash any dishes. I can do them perfectly fine." I say while smiling at him. "I don't care. They let me stay here for the week, cleaning up after us one time is the least I can do." He says while washing the next dish. I grab a paper towel and start wiping down the table, resetting the place mats and putting away the syrup.

Max finished the dishes, we head out to the back yard and sit on the patio swing, his arm wrapped around me with my head on his shoulder. "I hope I get to see you soon.." I say as it finally hits that he won't be here tomorrow. "We'll see each other soon enough. You have no reason to not get citizenship. You'll be in Texas before we know it." He says kissing my head. "All my fingers are crossed for it. I found this cute one bedroom apartment, it's only twenty minutes away from your house. And it's pretty big in size. But who knows how long it'll be available." I say pushing us back and forth. "Twenty minutes? That's pretty far. The offer still stands of you staying with me until you find somewhere to live. I rather have you closer." He says while rubbing my shoulder. "I know Max, and thank you. But I can't just live with you for an unknown amount of time and then leave to move in to my own place... I'd never want to be there.." I said. "Well why not just take it easy then. Once you get citizenship, stay with me for a month or two. I'll help you look at apartments, again, you can keep stuff in my garage. It'll be super easy." "I guess that would work..especially with doing my online course.. fine. I accept your offer." I say looking up and kissing him.
