He came back home after the meeting he had attended. He went straight to his room, feeling exhausted, but stopped at the door when he saw the scene in front of him.The omega was sleeping, wrapped in a blanket like a burrito. He stood there for a moment, staring at him. The omega had become even more beautiful, and the teenage Namjoon who was in love with him would be head over heels if he saw him now. Though, even back then, the young alpha was infatuated with the omega.
But all the infatuation, love, or crush he felt for the Omega had vanished when the Omega hurt him so deeply. Before his thoughts could drag him back to those painful memories, he moved towards the sleeping Omega.
He leaned down to wake him but froze again. The omega’s scent was so intoxicating to Namjoon that he would proudly wear it as a perfume.
Although Namjoon didn’t like Seokjin at all, he couldn’t deny that his alpha accepted the omega as his true mate and felt his alpha falling for him. It would hurt Namjoon as a human if his alpha fell in love with Seokjin because he didn’t like him at all.
“Wake up, sweet caramel.” He softly caressed the omega's pristine cheeks with the back of his hand. Again, he couldn’t blame his alpha for loving Seokjin’s scent more than necessary.
Seokjin whined in his sleep, hugging Namjoon’s arm and leaving the pillow, then dozed off again.
"I'm going to make dinner. You need to eat something before you go to sleep." Although he didn't want to disrupt his sleep, he wanted him to eat. He hated the omega, but he felt a responsibility to take care of him, not just because his mother told him to, but because he wanted to.
Seokjin lightly opened his eyes. The alpha's arm was still in his grip, but as sleep left his eyes and he realized what he was doing, he instantly let go. Namjoon stood straight, still feeling the soft grip of Seokjin's hands on his forearm.
"Freshen up and come for dinner," Namjoon said, then turned on his heels, taking off his coat and throwing it on the sofa. He was about to leave the room when Seokjin called out, "Alpha." Namjoon's heart skipped a beat as he listened to Seokjin call him alpha in his sweet tone.
He lightly turned his head to show he was listening.
"I don't have any clothes to change into," Seokjin said, expressing his problem.
"You can take anything from my closet," Namjoon replied and waited for him to ask anything else, but Seokjin just nodded.
Namjoon left and went to the living room, where the open kitchen was on the side. He went to the cabinet, weighing his options for dinner. After a while, he settled on spaghetti, hoping the omega would eat it.
He was chopping vegetables when he heard light footsteps on the stairs. He looked up to see the omega, and his hands, which were chopping the vegetables, paused for a moment. Seokjin looked small and cuddly in a sweatshirt that practically engulfed his small body.
Tearing his eyes away from the omega, Namjoon focused back on slicing the carrots.
Seokjin was astonished when he saw Namjoon cutting vegetables in his dress shirt, which hugged his muscular body perfectly, with the sleeves rolled up to his elbows. He was still wearing his watch and tie. Seokjin came closer, sitting on the kitchen stool, watching him.
"You know how to cook?" he asked, surprised. When the alpha told him to come for dinner, he didn't expect that Namjoon could cook as well. It seemed out of character for an alpha.
"Yes," Namjoon hummed, putting the spaghetti in a pot to boil.
"How?" Seokjin asked, curious about Namjoon and his personality.
