The warm breeze ruffled his hair, and the dried leaves crunched under his feet as he slowly walked to his new apartment. He had upgraded from his one-room apartment to this new place just a week ago.

He was incredibly grateful to Hoseok and Yoongi for their help; without their loan, he wouldn’t have been able to afford such a nice apartment while also covering his mother’s hospital bills.

This neighborhood was much safer, with many wealthy residents.

With a soft click, the apartment door opened, and he stepped inside. He went straight to his mother's room and sighed with relief when he saw her sleeping peacefully.

Minah had told him an hour ago that his mother had eaten and gone to bed. He was late from work today, so the caretaker had left. Usually, she stayed until he got home.

After taking a hot shower, he ignored the rumbling of his stomach. He was utterly exhausted from all the work. The upcoming fundraising event was taking a serious toll on his body. He felt weak from skipping meals and overworking himself. Being an Omega, he was more fragile and worked much harder than the average Alpha.

Within seconds, he was asleep, lost in a dreamless slumber after an exhausting day.

The opulent office room exuded a dim glow, with heavy curtains draping over the glass windows. A robust figure occupied the imposing black table at the head of the room, exuding a commanding aura that filled the space.

With his head reclined on the seat and eyes shut, he emitted a gruff "come in" as the door received a light knock.

"Do I have any important engagements on Friday?" he inquired, still not lifting his head.

"A fundraising event at the school, sir," replied the woman, dressed in a crisp white shirt and a brown pencil skirt, after consulting the tablet in her hands.

Lifting his head, his eyes, akin to those of a dragon, opened, radiating an intensity that revealed his alpha status—a powerful, dominating force. The secretary trembled slightly under the weight of his gaze.

With a slight nod of his head, the secretary understood it was her cue to depart. The alpha male rose from his seat, gathered his belongings from the table, and departed from the dimly lit office.

The school buzzed with activity as teachers and staff gathered in the auditorium. Seokjin scanned the seating arrangements attentively.

"Students, behave yourselves. We will be joined by Mr. Kim Namjoon, the prominent businessman in Korea. It's an honor that he's chosen to support our school. Let's make a good impression," Mrs. Choi, a fellow beta teacher, reprimanded the group of children who had been causing a ruckus.

The students quieted down at her words.

"Oh, Kim Namjoon! I've heard of him. He's the only true-blood alpha in Seoul and a young CEO," one of the girls whispered excitedly to her friends. Seokjin listened to their chatter, and after a few minutes, they settled into their assigned seats as Namjoon's arrival approached.

After an hour and a half, the man finally entered, the door to the auditorium swinging open as guards in black uniforms stood at attention. Namjoon walked in with the school's principal, and Seokjin's eyes lit up when he spotted Hoseok and Yoongi accompanying the alpha male. As Namjoon approached Seokjin's vicinity, Seokjin couldn't help but gaze at him intently, his eyes refusing to leave Namjoon's form.
