One evening, after a particularly long day, I decided to take Alexander up on his offer and use the pool. As I floated in the warm water, I let the stress of the day melt away. The pool's gentle ripples caressed my skin, and I closed my eyes, surrendering to the serenity. I didn't realize Alexander had come home until I saw him standing by the edge of the pool, watching me. His gaze was intense, his eyes dark with something I couldn't quite identify.

"Enjoying yourself?" he asked, his deep voice low and husky and his eyes dark with something I couldn't quite identify.

I nodded, feeling a sudden rush of self-consciousness. "Yes, it's very relaxing." I tried to sound nonchalant, but my voice betrayed me, barely above a whisper.

He smiled, but there was a hint of something more in his gaze, something that made my heart skip a beat. "Good. You deserve it." His eyes lingered on mine, and I felt the air thicken between us. The water seemed to vibrate with tension as he stood there, his eyes locked on mine.

As he walked away, I couldn't help but feel the magnetic pull between us growing stronger. Being in his apartment, so close to him, was a constant test of my resolve. I tried to focus on the soothing water, but my mind wandered back to him. The way he looked at me, the way his presence made me feel.

I stayed in the pool for a while longer, trying to shake off the sensation. But it only seemed to intensify as the minutes passed. I could feel his eyes on me, even when he wasn't in the room. It was as if he'd awakened a part of me that I couldn't ignore.

Finally, I climbed out of the pool, wrapping myself in a towel. As I walked back to my room, I caught a glimpse of him in the kitchen, his eyes fixed on me. I felt a shiver run down my spine, and I quickened my pace, trying to escape the heat that seemed to follow me wherever I went.

But it was no use. The tension between us was palpable, and I knew I couldn't avoid it forever. Little did I know, our encounter by the pool was only the beginning of a series of events that would change everything between us.
