Week 3

That Sunday, I went into the record label with my father, and for once, my father was actually my father — proud of me as we strolled into the building with our heads held high. We were Akiyamas — and we were very proud of that fact.

I talked to the manager, director, vocal coach, and choreographer. Needless to say, my Sunday was not a day of rest.

Monday came quickly enough, though. It didn't take long for Osorō to realize that I was avoiding him, however.

Aru and I stepped onto Akademi's campus, and I got a chime of "Good morning, Athena-sama!" just walking into the shoe locker area. I sighed at the attention — knowing my fate was sealed. I would forever be known as the Goddess of Akademi, and there was nothing I could do about it.

When I opened my shoe locker, a note fluttered down to my feet. I quickly picked it up, then checked to make sure no one else saw it. When I confirmed no one had, I opened it.

Meet me in the maze. - O

I blushed. He meant... the labyrinth hedge maze. But that could only mean...

He wanted complete privacy with me. There was no way he wouldn't try to make another move on me.

I couldn't meet him. As much as I wanted to, I couldn't.

I pocketed the note carefully, though, knowing I'd be drawing hearts around his handwriting when I got home.

I was about to get my phone out to text Osorō an excuse, when Aso approached me, saying, "Good morning, Athena-sama."

"Good morning, Aso," I greeted. "How are you?"

"I'm doing pretty good! Sorry to steal the gymnasium from your club, but the sports club has to prepare for the basketball skirmish against Shisuta High this Saturday," Aso apologized.

"Oh, right! That reminds me," I said, "my party is next Saturday, not this Saturday. If you want to go, you'll have to come in my limo with me and Aru, to get fitted for an outfit."

Aso whistled. "Wow! Really?"

I nodded, grinning. "Really."

"Well, I can't wait!"

I giggled. "I bet. Anyway, I've gotta tell some others, too, so they have the chance to decide if they want to join me or not."

"Alright, see you in class!"

With that, Aso headed to the gymnasium, while I entered the plaza and approached Taro-senpai, who was reading a book, sitting at his usual spot on the fountain.

"Good morning, Taro-senpai," I greeted, sitting next to him.

"Ah," he said, marking his spot with a bookmark and closing his book to focus on me. "Good morning, Athena-sama."

"Are you busy next Saturday?"

He blinked. "I don't think so, why?"
