14 - Aso Rito: Sports Club President

Week 3 (Weekend)

Saturday had finally arrived.

The Saturday of Aso Rito's basketball game.

I pulled my hair into a high ponytail, tying it up with a white scrunchie. Then, I gazed at my reflection and scoffed. If Akademi Academy had a cheerleading squad, I'd definitely be on it — I wore a white and red cheerleading outfit, with black rimming the hems and neckline of it, the same colors as our school uniform.

I quickly snapped a selfie and sent it to Kokona.

Me: If Akademi Academy had a cheerleading squad, like an American school, I'd def be on it LOL

Kokoni-chan is typing...

Kokoni-chan: You didn't know? We actually do. That looks JUST like our cheerleader's uniform!

My blood ran cold. Uh oh. I couldn't actually wear this to Aso's game, then.

Me: Should I take it off, then?

Kokoni-chan is typing...

Kokoni-chan: NO! I'm sure the cheerleaders would LOVE it if you wore that. In fact, I'm coming to that game with Riku!

Me: WAIT! RIKU??

Kokoni-chan is typing...

Kokoni-chan: You'll see ;)

Me: I BETTER

I stopped texting her to tie my white sneakers, then grabbed my purse and shoved my phone into it. I exited my room just as Aru was about to knock on my door, and he stared at my outfit as I stared at him with wide eyes, like a deer caught in headlights.

"Well, I was about to ask if you wanted to hang out with us, but it looks like you're already busy," Aru scoffed, smirking as he crossed his arms. Looks like he'd decided to poke fun at my outfit.

I blushed profusely — and I opened my mouth to make a retort, when I realized what he'd said. "Who's us?"

Aru side stepped out of the way, revealing Osorō standing behind him, wearing a giant white overcoat with black details on it and ripped black jeans.

Wait... is that... Osorō? In my home?

Osorō eyed me, taking in my outfit with a weird expression — it was like he was checking me out with a scowl. My blush worsened. "Where are you off to, wearing Akademi's cheerleading uniform?"

I sighed. "For the second time today, I didn't know we actually had a cheerleading squad when I put this on, okay? That explains why So-Young was so willing to find me this."

Aru's eyebrow shot up curiously. "So-Young is literally on the cheerleading squad. Actually, she's the cheer captain."

I face palmed. "Of course, she is, and of course, she didn't tell me."

Osorō scoffed as he eyed me again. "Probably because she wanted to see you figure it out on your own." Before I could make a retort, he demanded, "Where are you going in that, anyway?"
