Chapter 10: New Beginnings

As i walked into school with my brothers, i was looking for her. I then felt a hand on my shoulder.

"Dont do anything stupid." My older brother demanded, imperatively. "Especially not with Britt".

I pushed him off of me. "Simon, that's none of your business!" I shouted before taking my skateboard and riding it through the hallway.

What was his problem ?
I rode to my locker, i stopped, opening it to fetch my math book. After that, i prepared to go check on Brittany. I need to apologize in order for us to get started on our assignment.

Suddenly, i saw her. Today she put her hair up in a ponytail, just like usual. I can't believe im noticing these small changes. Anyways, i walked over to her, she looked pretty worried.

"Hi, Britt." I waved at her.

She barely turned to face me. "What do you want?"

"Look i wanna apologize." I stated.

Finally, the blondie looked at me. "No alvin."

I sighed. "Brittany.." i mumbled. "L-Look Im sorry."

"Ugh." She grunted "I guess i can't escape you since we have school work to do together."

Great, we're chill now. It felt like we were friends again just like old times.

"Hey, Wanna come to the cafeteria? I'll buy you a snack before classes start.." i asked her, grinning with my usual smile. "To apologize?"

Brittany smiled back at me, warmly. Her pink lipgloss shimmered. "Apology accepted, Alvin."

Jeanette's P.O.V

I've been counting the days before i left for camp with Si. three days left.. My sudden stress and fear ultimately changed to excitement. I was too impatient to wait for those days. Anyways, i did really wanna talk with Simon. I wonder where he is now? He's one of the only people that i enjoy talking to, that im not afraid to speak to and i dont stutter a lot when we have a conversation... i guess i'm very comfortable with him.

As i was walking to my locker, i found the blue clad standing in front of it. I felt my cheeks burn crimson red.. i quickly put a few strands of my chocolate hair to cover my face.

He wasn't expecting to see me this soon i think. He jumped as soon as his gaze was set on me. "O-oh Hi."

"Ah.. h-hi Simon." i stuttered, i stopped looking at him to avoid blushing again. "D..d-did i startle you?"

"N-NO!" He shouted for some reason? I got a bit scared and jumped. "I.. i mean n-not at all.. i was waiting for you actually."

Huh? Waiting for me? Why..? I lifted up my head to look at him and as soon as his gaze met mine.. i kept admiring his dark blue eyes.. who were glowing at the sight of mine.

"Do..you wanna hang out at the lab at my house after school?" he asked me.

"Well for sure! Just like usual." We exchanged a smile and walked to class together.

As the bell rang, everyone sat in their places and quickly stopped speaking as Miss Smith came in. Alvin had science with Eleanor in the same laboratory class. They were paired up to discover the PH of a certain substance.

Eleanor put her goggles on and her gloves. "Go get the blue and red ph papers."

"Why me?" asked Alvin, who didn't put on his goggles, his gloves or even his lab coat.

She sighed and rolled her eyes. "Because you're my lab partner today, Alvin."

Eleanor looked up and down, then at him. "Why aren't you wearing your coat? Or your glasses?"

"Because i may have forgotten them..."

"Typical." She mumbled. "Whatever.  just stay here i'm gonna go get what we need."

As she went to get the supplies, Alvin knew he had to apologize for manipulating her for his own good. Eleanor came back with four papers of each color and a pipette to make it a bit easier. She put all of it on the table.

She then turned to face him and looked at him with a different expression, something that was very similar to hatred. "Stay back, i'm gonna do the work. just don't bother me."

The red capped chipmunk rolled his eyes before nodding. Whatever, it's not like he wanted to work anyways.

"Sorry for yesterday" he blurted out looking at the ceiling.

"Yeah im sure you're real sorry."

"I am and i dont care if you trust me or not. I apologize thats it."

"Typical Alvin, apologizing without even knowing why."

"Shut up Eleanor, you can be so annoying sometimes."
He shouted at her, angrily, before the bell rang.
Ellie just stood there, shocked but not surprised. It's like she was used to it all. She dropped the lab stuff violently, grunted and marched out of the classroom. It's alright, he apologized thats what mattered.

Alvin sighed and got up too to go to the cafeteria. As he roamed the halls, Sophia, who was also a chipmunk approached him. She had the lightest brown hair, bright blue eyes who almost seemed turquoise and pale fur. Sophia was the new girl in town, she had just came in a few weeks ago from New York.

"Hey.. wait OH MY GOD. Alvin, Wait up!" She shouted, running after him.

The red clad turned around and stopped as soon as he saw her. He never saw her before, he assumed she was surely just asking for an autograph.

As Sophia catched up, heavily breathing she slightly crouched and lifted up her head, handing Alvin a notebook and a black permanent sharpie marker.
"A-Are you Alvin from Alvin and the chipmunks.. oh i-i'm a h-h.. HUGE! Fan.."

He looked at her and smirked. "Why yes, yes i am" he said, smugly like usual. "I've never seen you around, who are you?" He said taking the sharpie and writing a quick signature on the blank pages. "O-oh well um i am new here.. to this town and all heh" she stuttered still in shock after meeting her idol. Alvin couldn't lie, she was pretty cute. He smiled at her, a smile that he would give to each girl he'd encounter, each one that he thought would be worthy to hook up with.
