The Chipmunks and Chipettes were sitting in their usual table in the cafeteria. Eleanor chose it specifically because it was in the middle, not too far from the exit with the hallway leading to all the classes and close enough for the food stand. It was perfect, like she said. It was a circled shape table, where Simon sat next to Jeanette who sat next to Eleanor who sat next to Theodore who sat next to Alvin who, finally, sat next to Brittany. Brittany had Alvin on her right and Simon on her left. How awkward. For the first time in their lives, nobody spoke at the "special" table today. It was the silentest it ever been. Across Britt was Eleanor, who was shifting her gaze between her and Alvin with a very suspicious look. Obviously, Jeanette and Simon were intrigued by it but Theodore just ignored it. He was used to all the misunderstandings his friends made.

The oldest brother stopped chewing on his noodles snd looked at Eleanor then Brittany and Alvin. "Why are you guys acting so weird?" he asked, suspiciously. It's like he thought something happened because of Alvin, who was labeled as the troublemaker.

The green eyed Chipette got up and sighed. "Well, i don't know.. Why dont we ask Brittany and Alvin?" Eleanor clenched her teeth, viciously as she pointed the two of them.

She was known for her straightforward, sassy and iconic personality. All of the group knew that if she said something was wrong then something WAS wrong.

Theodore ultimately got on her side and asked "Huh? What are you guys hiding?"

The red and pink chipmunks looked at each other. For a moment now, they thought a minute or two passed as they were staring into their souls, seeking for answers or advice on what to say.

Should they reveal what happened that dark night at the Seville household?

"Alvin. If this has something to do with what you've done to Brittany, spit it out." The eldest said.

The blonde chipmunk shook her head. "N-no Simon. He hasn't done anything bad." She stuttered.

Jeanette looked at Brittany with a look of disbelief and confusion. "Then what is it about?"  She said in her sweet, soft and sorrowful tone that she only used in situations that could be serious.

Ellie smirked. "Come on you two. If you dont tell, i will." That phrase aired from her lips, in a sing-song tune to tease them.

The red clad got up from his seat and looked like he was fuming. Alvin was a chill person, he wasn't the type of guy to get mad over people easily. Instead, he would be the one to make his friends feel bad. "

We did nothing wrong and i dont think it's any of your business, Eleanor." he says as he smiles sarcastically at her. "If me and Brittany dont wanna tell y'all then we wont." He announced before tightening his lips, clenching his jaw and grabbing Brittany's arm softly. He dragged her as carefully as possible but also quickly out of the cafeteria.

He ran with Brittany who was caught up and did not realize what was happening. He soon arrived in the hallway leading to the classes, next to some lockers. Alvin started panting, still holding Britt's hand. "ALVIN! Let me go" she shouted before snatching her hand from Alvin's. "Why did you rush ouf of there? Are you crazy?" She shouted, gesturing weird, random motions with her hand because she was so shocked of what just happened. Still, he did not respond. He just stayed there, looking at the ceiling. it was so silent that you could hear the old grandmother clock ticking from the principal's office. The crystal eyed girl was dumbfounded, how could he do all of that and not say anything?

Suddenly, both of them heard footsteps coming towards them. They turned around to see.. Sophia? Britt hadn't met her. She stopped her steps as soon as she saw the pair of chipmunks in front her .

"Hi Alvin."

"Hey." he replied, recognizing her voice, but he still hadn't moved an inch, his head still admiring the ceiling.

"Oh hi Brittany! The Chipettes are so cool." She smiled sarcastically after saying that phrase. Obviously she wasn't in the mood for that. "Thanks." she mumbled, in a sarcastic tone even more sarcastically as her. With a facial expression that screamed "shut the fuck up". Brittany had that habit of doing things better or more than anyone who did that certain thing. She didn't want to, it just came out like that. Okay maybe she did do it a bit on purpose.

"Well, uh, Bye Alvin." She waved and grinned from ear to ear at him. He finally turned to see Sophia and smirked at her too. Finally she left. The blonde Chipette looked at Alvin then at the floor with an expression of disbelief on her face.

"That's your girlfriend?" She asked.

"What?" He replied, visibly confused.

"You moved on that fast?"

"What? From what? I moved on from what?"

"Typical." mumbled Brittany, with tears in her eyes.

We all know that she couldn't admit but she still liked Alvin even after all the drama with him, the kiss and the whole secret that they wouldn't admit to their siblings. Did he feel the same the same way? Was that why he ruined her date, was he jealous? It still hurt on how he wanted to stay friends.

There was only one way to solve this. The Chipette locked her gaze onto Alvin's. "Why did you do that?"

"I-I didn't want you to feel pressured onto telling them that we kissed." he explained.

"Alvin you know what.." she took a deep breath and finally confessed. "i can't believe im saying this but i like you. I didn't realize it at first because i thought that you were just some stuck up guy but .. the more i hung out with you the more i realized you weren't that bad."  After announcing that, she went back to gaze at the floor.

She got that out of her chest and that was what mattered.

Alvin looked at her with a sense of wonder, Brittany knew how to get his attention and it always worked. His eyes trailed over to her's and he approached her close and closer.

"You .. you like me?"

"Wasn't it obvious ?"
