Isaac stood with his hands at his sides, his head slung low as he took in deep breaths.

He pushed himself down onto the pavement, erratic breathing becoming ferocious as he launched himself towards Derek. He lunged forward, arms stretched out at the man's throat.

The alpha waited until the boy had almost reached him before moving. It was fast and focused. He grabbed Isaac, twisting him around and slamming him back into the concrete.

Erica followed after, throwing herself at Derek, with a clawed fist ready to swipe.

His hand wrapped around her ankle, sprawling her across the ground brutally.

Boyd watched from behind a steel column gingerly. Erica climbing to her feet and smiling back at the boy.

"Anyone want to try not being completely predictable?" Derek asked, shrugging and glancing around at his betas.

Erica once again pounced onto him, this time latching onto his torso, wrapping her legs around him. She pressed her lips against his passionately, causing him to throw her back to the ground onto her back.

"That's the last time you do that." He told her sternly, "Why? Because I'm a beta?" She teased. "Because I have someone else in mind for you." Derek snapped back.

Isaac rolled onto his arm, propping himself up on the ground, "Where is Aurora?" He winced, looking up at his alpha.

"She's at school." Derek informed them, Isaac chiming back in, "You let her go back to school already?" A judgemental tone in his voice. "She needs to interact with other people, not just her pack." Derek spoke, Isaac once more answering, "So much for hiding her from Scott." The man glared at him, "She won't be talking to them."

Isaac thought about his next moves, he could reply with another sarcastic comment, but decided on silence.

He climbed to his feet along side Erica. "We done? There's about a hundred bones in my body that could use a few hours to heal."

Derek clasped his palm around the boy's arm, clenching down on it until a sharp snap of the bone could be heard. Isaac yelped in pain, cradling his arm and squeezing his eyes tightly shut. "A hundred and one."

"You think I'm teaching you to fight? I'm teaching you to survive." Derek gazed at Isaac, still addressing them all, "If they want us dead, how come they aren't coming for us now? Why wait?" Isaac asked wearily.

"I don't know. But they're planning something, and you especially know that's not the problem." He then turned to the others, "Whatever killed Isaac's father? I think it killed someone last night. Until I figure out what it is, all of you need to learn everything I know. As fast as I can teach you."

"Sorry about the other day. I'm trying. We'll get through this. I know because I love you. I love you more than- Oh my god, you and Allison seriously have to find a better way to communicate." Stiles sighed, cringing at his own words. He was translating what Allison had told him to pass onto Scott, since they couldn't talk in public.

Scott begged for him to continue, "Come on, you're the only one we can trust. Did she say she's coming to my game tonight?" Stiles grimaced, "Yes. Message complete. Now tell me about your boss." The boy demanded.
