This mc is not going to be op, he'll train hard until he gains enough power to do as he pleases. He got Isekaid to the world of Naruto in Sunagakure as a civilian.

During one of Kantomaru's training sessions he thought, 'I doubt I'm from any secret clan or have any special kind blood linage so I'll have to make do with just normal elements, like fire, water, wind, lightning and earth and to be very honest I think everyone underestimates earth as they think is only a good base for defence and people can't go far with it. Even in fanfics I Gad watched in my previous life, but I think earth is the best element is versatile, it's everywhere and I can think of millions of ways to be able to use it.
However for now I need to train to dominate my earth element even if it's not my natural affinity, when I get to the academy I'll find out my actual affinity if possible and then get jutsu from there, after I get a good base I'll start to make my own jutsu, but that's going to take many more years' so Kantomaru stopped thinking about it and started his earth element training.
'Okay so from some of the fanfics I've watched your meant to be able to crumble things like rocks or metals, the better you get the easier it will be to make dense objects crumble, another type of earth training is to make the object soft and elastic with just chakra however that will be harder so I'll start by trying to crumble pebbles'. Kantomaru stood in the open field behind the orphanage, his small hands trembling as he focused intently on a small rock resting on the ground before him. Determined to master Earth Style, he channeled his chakra with concentrated effort.
He envisioned the rock crumbling under his will, his brows furrowed in concentration. His eyes narrowed, and he pushed his chakra towards the rock, expecting it to shatter into pieces. Instead, the rock remained stubbornly intact. Kantomaru's brow furrowed deeper, sweat forming on his forehead.
He strained harder, trying to force the earth to obey his command, but the rock stayed as solid as ever. Frustration welled up within him. He sighed, sitting back on his heels with a mixture of disappointment and determination. His attempt had failed, but his resolve to master Earth Style only grew stronger. So, he stayed resilient and continued to try all afternoon. By the end of the day, he had made no progress, so he thought of a different way to first be able to use the earth element.
He dug a little sand pit (note that, the earth was in the sand but since Suna is full of sand you can't see it) enough for him to be partly buried and sat in it to meditate. He thought 'this will help me to eventually be able to feel the chakra and presence of the earth while also letting me meditate and work on my chakra control, while it will be immensely more difficult once I get used to it I will be able to detect earth chakra and probably use it better, as a wise man once said 'be one with nature'.
During these six months, he also managed to meditate for 25 minutes, which helped his chakra reserves grow and expand as he was constantly moving it around his body, making him tired and run out of chakra, which is one way to increase chakra levels. Another way is training your spiritual energy through meditation and physical energy obviously through training, which he also did to keep his spiritual and physical energy balanced.
On the sixth month, he took his chakra control training to the next level and did the "sticking the leaf to the forehead with chakra" exercise. However, as we all know, Sunagakure isn't exactly a place full of bushes, forests and trees, so instead, he used paper as it was thin and weighed next to nothing like leaves. Now you're thinking, how can they have paper but no trees? Well, sand can make paper—amazing, right? Anyways, he started by putting the paper on his forehead when the other kids were outside playing, and he was alone in the room.
The first time he tried, he managed to keep it on his forehead for a whopping one minute, which wasn't that bad for his first try, so he continued to try. He also was able to feel earth chakra more easily now as he meditated half buried on the sand everyday (note that earth was in the sand so let's say he was to do an earth jutsu it would show as a sand jutsu but it's earth style). Now it would take him about 4 minutes to connect with nature. Kantomaru thought 'Now that I can feel earth chakra easily let me try it again'.
