Seungmin froze, what the hell was the boy doing here? and why are they sitting at the same table?

What a coincidence.

The mysterious fox boy was still looking at seungmin, not saying anything. His face wasn't moving at all, his expression was unreadable. The only noticeable movement was his eyes blinking.

He looked so calm and collected. How the hell was he managing to do that?

Seungmin was debating whether he should continue with this little staring contest or just go away, pretending like he wasn't held by the boy a few minutes ago.

He chose the first option.

He continued looking at the boy, noticing all the small details about his face. There were practically no imperfections, no flaws. Seungmin didn't really like to consider anyone as perfect, it was a strong expression that nobody matched. Everyone has their own imperfections which some people consider as perfections. It's a really wide spectrum of different points of view, it's not the same for everyone.

But this boy, this mysterious boy. He looked perfect.

That was the first time seungmin thought this about someone. It felt strange, but also as it was meant to be like this.

In the back of his mind, seungmin was hoping the boy will start speaking, sadly he didn't look like he wanted to say anything at all. But seungmin also didn't want to break the silence. It wasn't even awkward, the silence was really comfortable and it felt like they knew each other for years.

Seungmin's eyes were starting to sting a bit. No wonder why. He wasn't blinking for a really long time.

With a small shift in his position, seungmin started blinking again and rubbed his eyes a bit. This little and simple movement caused the fox boy to finally speak.

"I won". He said, his voice sweeter than honey.

"I let you win". Seungmin replied in a defensive tone.

The boy smiled at that, but looked like he doesn't believe a word the person next to him is saying.

The staring started again, but seungmin couldn't let this happen again, so this time he decided to break the silence with a simple question.

"What's your name?". He asked, hoping the boy won't find it weird.

"It's Jeongin, thanks for asking Seungmin."

What?? How did jeongin know his name? Did they meet already?? What the hell?

"uhh why are you so confident about my name being seungmin?". He asked, trying to sound cool and not make his worry visible. It ended up as the exact opposite. He sounded like a scared child.

The boy smirked a little, looking like he knew something seungmin didn't.

"well, you kinda dropped your id when you were attempting to sleep while standing, and I kinda picked it up and looked at it. here, take it".

Seungmin took the id from the boy's hand, their fingers slightly brushing against each other, causing them both to shift in their seats. This boy has the softest hands in the world.

The id securely ended up in seungmin's pocket. How could he drop it in the first place?

It was starting to get dark outside. It's time to go. Seungmin promised to himself he'll be home before it's dark, but the line in the store and then this encounter with jeongin took a longer while than expected. And seungmin had to pay the price for it, he hated being outside when it's dark.

He quickly got up and with no further explanation of why he's leaving he just left, leaving jeongin sitting there alone being confused. The fox boy thought that seungmin left cause he thought he's weird.

Seungmin's pace was fast, increasing even more each minute. He needed to reach the bus stop as fast as possible. His mind was a mess. First, the annoying people at the mall, second, the weird but suspiciously heartwarming moment with jeongin and third, the sun and light are nowhere to be seen.

His hands were slowly freezing. It's really cold during the day but it's even colder during evenings and nights. The brown haired boy tried warming up his hands with his hot breath, but it didn't help at the slightest. He's going to freeze entirely before the bus comes.

"Oh my goodness yes the bus is finally here"

Seungmin got comfortable in his seat. His habit was to always look out of the window and observe all the different landscapes, sometimes even trying to memorize them and keep them in his memory for a really long period of time.

Sadly, he couldn't see anything from the window now. Only the streetlights were revealing bits of the surroundings.

Seungmin had no other choice than look across the bus instead of out the window.

There were couples of people who were just on their way home from work. They looked exhausted, their eyes were closing and the people didn't seem to care at the moment. Their expressions were plain, as if there was no human behind these faces.

Seungmin also noticed a few young people, looking visibly drunk. They maybe just got out of some club. Sure, it was late, but a little too early to leave the club. Seungmin didn't think much of it though. It was just a small observation.

The bus finally reached the stop near seungmin's house, he got up.

As he was standing outside, watching the bus drive away, he noticed one more person sitting there.

Jeongin.

What?? What is he doing there? How did he manage to be in the same bus for the entire time without seungmin noticing him??

That's when seungmin realized he forgot to ask him about the most important thing, the camera. The boy was furious at himself for forgetting. What if he never sees jeongin again?
