This second encounter ended up with Seungmin and Jeongin sitting in their local park on a bench, talking about various topics or just life in general.

Seungmin gave up on trying to get the fox boy out of his head, it's impossible. But he still doesn't want to admit that it's love, they're just friends, or at least that's what seungmin is trying to gaslight himself into.

It was almost 11 pm, it was getting really cold, the boys were almost freezing. Luckily, they both had warm clothes.

Seungmin kind of wanted to go home already, his uncle is probably worried about him, if he even noticed his nephew is gone. But he probably haven't noticed yet. There are two options, either he's sleeping already or he's just busy with work and is happy that no annoying kid is bothering him.

But the brown haired boy didn't mind that at the moment, he was happy to be with jeongin, enjoying their little late night talk. He wanted to know everything, every single detail about the boy that was sitting next to him. It felt like the world stopped, like there was just him and jeongin left on this planet.

Seungmin forgot about all his worries at that moment, he wanted to tell jeongin everything about himself. About his family, which he doesn't know much about, but maybe the fox boy is going to understand him and reassure him everything is going to be alright. And if he is extra kind, maybe he'll even help him to find some information.

Time was ticking fast, it was getting darker and darker. The only source of light were the streetlights all over the park and the big, shiny moon, which was reflecting its magical and bright light on the nearby river. Nobody else was there besides the two boys. If you saw them for the first time you would've thought they knew each other for years. Their laughs, smiles, the way they look at each other. All these things were indicating that they're really meant for each other, not necessarily in a romantic way.

One boy had the things that the other one is missing.

Neither of them wanted this to end, they were still coming up with new topics such as their school life, past relationships and what do they want to do in the future. But there was one thing, one thing that they haven't talked about yet. Their families.

Seungmin didn't think much of it, but jeongin was starting to get suspicious. But he didn't ask about anything cause what if it will make the boy next to him uncomfortable? That was the last thing the black haired boy wanted to happen, so he kept his mouth shut and continued to talk about different things.

Time was ticking even faster now, it was 1 am. Finally, seungmin decided he needs to go home, he doesn't want to, but he has to. He knows his uncle probably isn't worried about him but there's still a small chance. What if he actually knows his nephew is not present? But probably not cause he didn't even call seungmin or anything.

"Uhh jeongin I think it's time to part ways now, it's getting late". Seungmin said in a quiet tone.

Jeongin nodded and agreed, but he knows that seungmin lives far from the park so maybe it would be better if he suggested something.

"I know you live kinda far, how about staying at my house overnight? We can sleep in different rooms and it's really okay if you don't want to..". Jeongin suggested, really hoping seungmin will accept.

Seungmin was kind of skeptical about jeongin's suggestion. He still has to think about the fact they don't know each other that well. The brown haired boy knows that his newly made friend isn't a bad person, but the possibility is still there.

He also has to think what's the best for him at the moment. Sadly, none of his options now are good. He can walk for an hour straight to his house when it's really dark and cold outside or he can go to a complete stranger's house and stay there overnight not knowing what's going to happen.

His fear of darkness is telling him to choose the second option.

Out of fear, seungmin nods and agrees to staying the night at jeongin's. The two boys get up, their bodies immediately warming up, they were sitting for a really long time and this movement made them feel a little warmer.

The walk was slow and quiet. They ran out of things to talk about, but the silence wasn't awkward at all. It was the type of silence that you enjoy, the one that makes you feel safe.

The streetlights were still on, making this journey feel a little better. If they were off, seungmin wouldn't probably be able to make any more steps. He would just go and hold jeongin's hand for support, no matter how weird and awkward it would look. The only thing he would care about at the moment is knowing that everything is alright and he's going to be safe.

After what seemed like 10 minutes, jeongin stopped in front of a big house. Seungmin didn't notice him stopping at first and just continued walking with his head down, not paying attention to his surroundings. Jeongin tried to get seungmin's attention but his mission was unsuccessful.

Finally, the brown haired boy noticed everything and went back to jeongin, looking up at the big, kind of luxurious house.

"This is yours?" Seungmin asked.

The fox boy just nodded while reaching for his keys to his pocket.

Seungmin couldn't believe his eyes, jeongin's family must be really rich if they get to live in a house like this.

When jeongin reached for the doorknob and opened the front door. Seungmin didn't hear or see any signs of other people in the house. It was quiet. Dark and quiet. How is he supposed to survive the night here? It's like the house came straight out of some horror movie.

The lights were off, everything in the house was black or white, there was this long hallway which was empty. Just a hallway that had a big window at the end. The window was the only source of light in that house. Seungmin was already thinking about how he's going to escape when he gets the chance.

Suddenly, seungmin remembered something, he doesn't know jeongin's last name. People usually say their full name when introducing themselves, but jeongin didn't do that, he just said his name is jeongin. Weird.

Both the boys were seated on the couch, not really knowing what to talk about. Also, they were really tired.

Seungmin broke the silence by a question.

"what's your last name by the way?"

Jeongin looked surprised, but still replied.

"Yang".

Seungmin's mind immediately went back to the moment when he found out the name of his mother's friend. It's also Yang.

Nicole Yang and Yang Jeongin
