Here is my early drop. As I said in the last chapter, I'm heading out today for a trip with my family. I will resume posting on Friday, August 9th. Thanks again for all the support. Enjoy!

I paced the thin halls of the tour bus. I hated this, and I kept wondering what was taking Destin so long to get back. He should have just yelled into the first bus and ran back, right? Unless something happened to him... I wrung my hands together and crawled onto the red couch to peak at the craziness going on behind us for the tenth time. I could see some of the pack and those gangster vampires fighting still, and the pack appeared to be having the upper hand. I even spotted Jimmy enjoying the fight, but I couldn't find Hendrix. I would get flickers of some kind of battle, but it was at the edge of the rear window's view.

"June, come away from there please." Lannister called softly.

I tore myself away and walked back to where Lannister was waiting for me. "I can't help but feel like I should be doing something..." I explained.

He nodded and pulled me close to him. "I know, but everything will be okay."

I groaned and rubbed my head into his chest. "But normally I'm the one to make it okay. I'm not used to sitting back like this. I feel so pathetic. Maybe I should sing over a megaphone or something. Empower the troops..."

Lannister stroked my hair lovingly. "I adore your sense of duty, My Heart, but this isn't the time to put yourself at risk. Please allow us to keep you safe this time."

I sighed. That was what everyone wanted. Hendrix, Destin, and Lannister. They wanted me to sit back and allow them to protect me. It wasn't that they weren't capable or anything. They did rescue me from Dean and Dracula before. I was pretty powerless back then too. I clenched my hands into fists. I was always powerless.

A frantic knock sounded at the front of the bus. Balto who was sitting at the driver's seat grasped the handle and swung the doors open. Destin was finally back and now we could get away from this place. I only hoped that Destin wasn't lying to me about the situation to make me comply. Hendrix and them had to be fine. I would never forgive myself if they weren't.

My relief quickly turned to dread as Hoen's pink head came into view. "Lannister, they need you at the lead bus." He said urgently.

Lannister instantly changed from my doting Amorita to a dutiful knight in seconds. "What's the situation?" He asked.

"Demons..." Hoen kept talking, but all I could hear was a distant screech as I felt the world shifting. Demons were here. They had found me. That was why Geralt was so confident the last we spoke, and why he hadn't been in my dreams since. He didn't want to give anything more away, but how did he find me? How did they know? My pack and the people I cared the most about are in danger now, because of me. Was this all orchestrated by them? Was Dracula in league with the demons? Did they discover my abilities? What do we do? What should I do?

"June!" Lannister asserted breaking me out of my spiral. I looked up to him completely lost, but he only had a warm smile on his face. "It'll be okay. Stay here with Hoen. I'm going to handle this. You're still in disguise, remember?" He soothed.

I gripped at his arm before he turned away. "Wait. You can't... This is too dangerous, Lannister. This isn't just Hendrix's dumb family or the Dracula goons anymore. We should think of a plan... Or something." I stuttered fighting back the panic.
