I woke up a little after five in the morning to my phone ringing. When I picked it up, I saw I had two missed calls from Evermore.
Why tf was she trying to call me at 4 in the morning?
After I let my eyes adjust to the brightness of my phone, I answered her call.
"Eve it's five in the morning..." I said in an extremely groggy, tired voice.
"Folk, Lover got in an accident about an hour or two ago. Me, Red, and Rep are at the hospital right now. I tried to call you earlier when we were in the ambulance, but you were asleep, so I called Rep instead."
"Oh-oh my god...is she okay? What happened?"
"Me and Red were out late at night at the park and we heard this loud crash from around the block. We went to check it out and there was this pretty major car accident, Lover's car being one of them. She's back in another room at the hospital right now, they said they got her stable and that she's alive, but she's still unconscious and being watched closely. When we found her she was barely breathing and she was soaked in blood. You guys don't all have to come right now, it would probably be better if there weren't ten people here when she wakes up, but I just figured you should know. If anyone really wants to come, they can, but me and Red already decided that Rep is gonna be the first one to get to see her."
I sat there for a second to process everything she said.
"Okay...thanks for letting me know. I'll try to be there in about 30 minutes. I'm gonna let everyone know, but they're just gonna stay here. Call me if anything else happens."
"Sounds good. Love you"
"Love you too" I hung up and got out of bed.
After I got dressed, I went into Speak Now's room.
"Hey...Speak" I whispered and slightly shook her shoulder.
"Hm?" She turned over and stretched, slowly opening her eyes.
"Hey, Lover's in the hospital, I'm gonna go head over there with Red, Eve, and Rep. Everyone else is just gonna stay here, I don't want too many people over there right now, but I'm just letting you know. Do you think you'd be able to tell everyone when they wake up for me so that I can get going?"
"Yeah of course. Is Lover okay?"
"I'm not really sure yet. Eve called me saying she got in an accident. She's stable right now but not conscious"
"Mk well just call me if anything changes or whatever"
"Of course. I love you sweet girl" I wrapped my arm around her and gave her a quick kiss on the lips.
"Love you too Lorrie" she smiled at me before I left the room.
Once I got to the hospital, I looked around the waiting room until I found them.
When I walked over, I saw Rep sleeping with her head on Reds lap, which I thought was weird since I know Rep hates showing any type of affection towards people.
"Hey" I whispered to Red and Evermore before sitting down on the bench next to them. "Heard anything yet?"
"Nope" Red said, running her fingers through Reps messy hair.
Before I could say anything else, Rep started stirring and looked up at me.
"Hey, how you doing?" I asked her gently.
"M'fine" she sat up, looking embarrassed for having slept on Red's lap.
"Rep..." I started, "you don't have to pretend like you're fine if you're not. You can talk to us, we're here for you" I reached my hand out and held hers, rubbing my thumb across the back of her hand.
