Chapter 17

"Nefetari." Hillary's breath seemed to have leaped out of her as she saw the little ones with matching outfits as hers. A pale baby blue sundress for Nymph. Baby Niamh wore a puffy baby blue peplum doll dress, Baby Nurieal with his checkered blue polo and beige pants. They looked like a cute family.

"Hey..." Hillary said as she tried her best not to smile too much like a little kid. The elevator doors closed from being too open for more than a second. Hillary had to get out of the elevator quickly and she takes a deep breath while looking at the three.

"Hello Auntie!" Niamh waved her hand at Hillary, the baby girl was rather talkative and basically not staring at her soul which is a good thing. It looked like the baby girl got out on the good side of the bed today.

"Hwi Auntie! We live here now..." Nurieal said in a soft shy tone, grasping onto the fabric of his Momma's dress. Hillary's breath hitched hearing the little one spoke about them staying here. Hillary didn't knew that, well. I never really visited this unit often because she lives with Archibald but it shocked her that they live in one building.

Hillary looks at Nymph first who certainly did not expect to see her. Both of them never expected to cross paths just like that. She looks back at the kids and smiled happily. "I see, isn't that good?" She bends down a little trying to level the little ones who were almost gonna break their necks from looking up to her. Their chubby cheeks were puffed and flushed, their brows furrowing while looking up to her made her heart swell.

"Means, I can kidnap you anytime I want." Hillary was able to slide in a harmless joke but the babies dramatically paled at her word. Nymph couldn't help but smile and shook her head at the dramatic act.

"I'm kidding." Hillary could only frown, feeling bad that her words had inflicted negatively but she was thankful Nymph knew she was just making a harmless joke or else the kids would've been separated from her literally.

"We'll hang out more often then." Hillary said before her eyes went to Nymph. Nymph raised her brows for a good while not understanding the sudden stare. She thought Hillary was only speaking to the kids. Nymph paused for a good moment to collect herself. She swallowed before answering.

"I won't say hanging out. It's not like you live here." Nymph's words sounded harsh but of course the woman was speaking out of assumption so Hillary lets those words pass by on the other opening of her ear.

"I do live here." Hillary said with a confident smile.

"Oh..." Nymph answered and nodded her head. Quite shocked at the revelation to it. Nymph was rather afraid now that Hillary is leaving her for some reason. It might also mean one thing-

"With your fiancee?" Nymph asked. She seriously did not sign up to stay in a condominium where her ex-wife will be there along with the homewrecking ex-fiancee who is now her fiance again. What a turn of events. Nymph couldn't help but roll her eyes.

Hillary could read onto Nymph and she shakes her head."No, just me." She said in an ushered tone.

Nymph's brows furrowed knowing she heard from Harvey that Hillary is living together with Archibald. "You two do not live together?"

Hillary cleared her throat as she fully explains what was going on but in a civil and calm way. "W-we do but I bought this house like a house I can come to when nobody wants me around." Hillary had explained to Nymph.

Nymph raised her brows before nodding her head. "So a house of refuge?"

Hillary shrugged digging with that description."It's comforting rather than to argue my point." Hillary said, she knows if she argues with anyone it would be rather she gets hurt or somebody on the other side would hurt her.

Hillay changes the subject knowing they were waiting for the elevator and Hillary dumbly got off. "Where are you three going anyway?" She asked out a curiosity seeing the matches of her clothes with the kids.

Nymph blinked as she gets back into her own thoughts. "We're going to buy some furniture. I can't leave them alone in the condo." Hillary hummed, it had seemed like they still hand to do some little touch ups to make sure their homes feels like a home. Hillary could only smile.

"I can tag along." Hillary offers herself to accompany them. Hillary didn't like the idea to be trapped in her unit, crying and looking at the ceiling as she wonders through a lot of loopholes in life.Something she would expect and want to avoid.

Nymph frowned, Hillary was in an all black sweatpants and hoodie. The only thing with other color is the white shoes."But you look tired." Nymph noticed how pale Hillary is. Hillary didn't even take off her hoodie. The bruises were still there and she couldn't help but want to change. Hillary hated to be seen as weak.

"Well, I need something to energize me." Hillary insisted and she seemed to be very confident of her own words that she preached. Ever so slowly, Nymph's eyes seemed to have stared down at her little ones then back at Hillary.
