wanderer sighed as he lead y/n to where the café was. she had the nerve to invite me somewhere without even knowing where it is. pathetic.

In all honesty, he was beginning to seriously doubt the fact that y/n was a spy. she was much too idiotic and awkward to be good at anything that involves talking to others.

the only reason he had even agreed to go to puspa café with her was because he needed to monitor her and weed out all the information he could out of her. Even if she didn't know she was a spy, she seemed to be suspiciously interested in ... hanging out with wanderer, or whatever she was trying to do. any sane person would've avoided him like the plague, he had made it very clear that he wasn't interested in her. maybe he needed to be clearer, perhaps she was one of those humans who couldn't take a hint for the life of them.

"this is it." he said, looking back at y/n. She smiled at him gratefully, and walked over to the door.

"thanks! Sorry I didn't know the way, my brains still foggy." She said apologetically.

"eh, it's no problem." wanderer waved it off, forcing himself to be civil. If lesser lord kusanali wanted information, he would get her information. It's not like he could say no even if he wanted to, since he was practically her prisoner.

Y/n opened the door, and glanced around the cafe. There were a few people sitting around at various tables. she looked back at wanderer, seemingly trying to figure out what to say.

"uh, where d'you wanna sit?" She asked, smiling awkwardly at him. He shrugged signalling that he didn't care.

"...alright then! This table it is I guess." Y/n said, walking over to sit down at one of the tables in the corner of the café. Wanderer imitated her and sat down across from her. A waitress noticed the two of them and immediately came over.

at least there's decent customer service. i won't have to be in here for too long.

"good morning!" The girl happily smiled at them, to which y/n smiled back.

"what can I get for you guys?" She asked, whipping out her notepad and a pen. Y/n looked over at wanderer like she was expecting him to order first.

he raised his eyebrows at her. she deadpanned at him and then awkwardly tried to decide what she wanted quickly.

"uhh.. I'll get a small coffee, please." Y/n said, looking at the menu board instead of who she was talking to.

hm. I wonder, does she realize thats rude or is she just that socially awkward? he wasn't really too concerned about her social skills, he had seen far worse cases of crushing anxiety in the akademiya. At least she actually made herself get out of the house, unlike the nerds who would just rot in bed researching until they had to go outside to grab whatever they needed.
