Hey guys! So I'm not totally sure where this story is going but I will try my best to make it a good story. So I'm hoping it goes along these lines:
- Marinette is saved by the young justice outsiders
- Beast Boy is currently still in his distresse...
I wasn't actually sure on how I was going to help but...I think I can. I had a vision... Last night while I was meditating, I arrived at a place and saw Superboy. He was in this strange void with floating rocks that almost seemed transparent and so did he. I awoke soon after with an odd sensation.
That's when I messaged Jonathan. As of right now, Damian, Jerry and I were at the Penthouse with Jonathan all suited up. Virgil and Eduardo were also present. "So, you said you could help. How?" I sighed, "I did it by..chance last night. I was able to see him for a brief second. I think what I need is a tether. One that is very close to Superboy in order for me to reach him."
Virgil raised a brow, "Isn't Jonathan enough? I mean they were pretty close." I thought, "When I say close I mean like...known him since birth or for most of his life." Eduardo spoke, "Why not ask one of the members of the old team? Like Nightwing, Zatanna.." Damian sighed, "They've been on a mission for at least a day now."
Jonathan exclaimed, "Miss Martian. I'm not even sure where she is right now, but she might be able to do the trick." Virgil shook his head, "She's on the Watchtower as we speak with Superman and Aquaman and few others. But we're not allowed access to go there."
Jonathan looked anxious before I suggested teleporting us over there. He agreed and so did Damian reluctantly. I called out, "Kaalki, Full Gallop." I transformed and was a bit scared since I never used Kaalki's powers before. It was different from Klarion's. "Voyage."
A portal opened and on the other side, I was able to see Megan and Superman along with a few others. I stepped through and so did Jonathan and Damian. We were met with looks of surprise as Superman made his way up to us. "Jon what are you-" "Nettie knows a way to find Conner!" he retaliated.
Megan interjected, "How!?" I sighed and explained once again.
Marinette: I saw him last night in this weird looking place where things were floating around whatnot-
Phantom Girl: The Phantom Zone. That was where I was too. I transported us to a..buffer dimension called the Phantom Zone. The journey left me unconscious and while I was out, Superboy fell under the influence of a pair of dangerous Kryptonian criminals named Zodd. They have a hold over him I don't understand. He wouldn't leave.
Jonathan: Nettie believes she can take you there again.
Before they started anything, they tried contacting Kid Flash, Nightwing, and Zatanna who were all out on missions with no luck. Black Lightning looked at me with saddened eyes. "Is there..something wrong?" I asked. He shook his head, "I just..I noticed you the first time you stayed at the Penthouse. And now, you're helping us with this situation."
I giggled, "I'm fine. I did this of my own volition. I want to help in any way I can." Megan then turned to Phantom Girl. "Please take me to him. I'm sure I can convince him to come home. Nettie, I'm counting on you."
I nodded. Phantom Girl also explained her probable inability to get back to the Phantom Zone but that's where I come in. I have the tether and someone who's spent time there already. I know I can do this. Jonathan rested a hand on my shoulder, "Are..you sure about this?"
I smiled, "Yup! One hundred percent." Phantom Girl held out her hands to Megan and I saying, "Alright, we'll try." We took them and I took a deep breath, taking Megan's hand into my other. "Here we go.." I mumbled. My eyes glowed red and my aura changed to suit.
We dove in and at first, we stumbled upon Bgtzl, Phantom Girl's home planet, but then with a little more focus I got us to the Phantom Zone. We spotted Conner but for some reason, we weren't able to speak. My connection was also failing.. Someone was interfering. Conner spotted us but stumbled away from Megan.
We returned to the Watchtower and we fell to our knees. I was panting uncontrollably. No..I thought I-I got rid of him.. Jonathan helped me up while Superman aided Megan. "I'm sorry but there was a bit of interference on my part." Megan smiled, "Well thanks to you..we now know for certain, Conner is indeed alive."
I smiled, but then my head began to hurt. Jonathan muttered worriedly, "Nettie.." I started hearing those little voices in my head once again. "Klarion.." was all I could say. Damian groaned and turned to Tikki. "What's wrong with her?" Tikki flew over to him, "Klarion was trying to communicate with her when they were in the Realm while her mind was distracted."
Superman raised a brow, "Who are you speaking to?" Pollen went over and touched his forehead along with Megan and Black Lightning. They were all shocked. "So these are the kwamis Zatanna spoke about. They're a lot of them." Megan said. I nodded weakly.
Superman then spoke up, "Jonathan and Damian, escort her back to the Outsider's base so she can rest. Leave the rest to us." Megan rested a hand on my shoulder. "Thank you again for helping us, Nettie." Superman helped us get through the Zeta tube and back to the Penthouse in one piece.
Jerry was relieved to see that I was unharmed but frowned seeing how weak I was. "What happened?" he asked. Damian sighed and said simply, "Klarion encounter." Jerry turned to me and I awkwardly chuckled, "It's okay. I got rid of him-" My head throbbed and a voice stood out..

I froze and quickly sat up. "Jerry..let's head back now. I'm really tired.." I stood up and he slowly nodded. We made our way back down the stairs with Damian, leaving Jonathan at the Penthouse since he had patrol. On the way back, my hands couldn't stop shaking.
The kwamis sat in my lap, their eyes watching me with worry. Tikki's especially stood out to me. I stared out the window and thought...
