SAN'S POV
*WEEKS LATER*
As we came off stage, the roar of the crowd still ringing in my ears, I felt a wave of exhaustion mixed with exhilaration. Before I could catch my breath, Wooyoung, back from his injury and bursting with energy, jumped on me, wrapping his arms around my neck.
"San!" he shouted, his laughter infectious. "We did it!"
Despite my tiredness, I couldn't help but laugh with him. "Yeah, we did!" I said, spinning him around several times, which only made him laugh harder. We sold out our first giant stadium tonight, a great way to end the tour.
When I finally set him down, we stood there, catching our breath and grinning like idiots. "I'm so glad you're back, Wooyoung," I said, brushing a stray lock of hair from his forehead.
"Me too," he replied, his eyes sparkling. "It feels amazing to be back on stage with you guys. And now, we're heading back to Korea."
"Yeah," I said, wrapping an arm around his shoulders as we made our way backstage. "We've got a lot to look forward to."
We shared a few more moments, just basking in the afterglow of our performance and the end of the tour. Wooyoung leaned into me, and I felt a warmth spread through my chest. It was moments like these that made everything worth it.
Just then, I noticed Yunho standing a little ways off, looking like he had something on his mind. He caught my eye and gave a small nod, signaling he wanted to talk. I gave Wooyoung a quick kiss on the forehead. "I'll be right back, okay?"
Wooyoung nodded, giving me a playful shove. "Don't keep me waiting too long."
I walked over to Yunho, who was nervously shifting from foot to foot. "What's up, Yunho?"
He sighed, looking relieved that I had come over. "San, can I ask you something? It's about Mingi."
"Of course," I said, motioning for him to continue.
"We've been doing great lately, and I'm ready to ask him out. For real," Yunho said, his voice filled with a mixture of excitement and nerves. "I want it to be perfect, just the two of us. I see how well you treat Wooyoung, and I need your advice."
I felt a grin spread across my face. "That's amazing, Yunho! I'm so happy for you. What are your ideas ?"
Yunho looked visibly relieved. "Thanks, San. I was thinking of asking him as soon as we get back to Korea. Something private, just us."
We found a quiet spot at the end of the hall to sit and brainstorm. "Alright," I said, leaning in. "Let's make this special. How about taking him somewhere meaningful to both of you? Somewhere you can really talk and be yourselves."
Yunho's eyes lit up. "That's a great idea. There's a spot in Seoul where we used to hang out a lot before things got so busy. It's quiet and private."
I nodded, picturing the scene in my mind. "Perfect. And during your time together, just speak from the heart. Let him know how much he means to you."
Yunho smiled, a glimmer of hope in his eyes. "Thanks, San. I don't know what I'd do without you."
"That's what friends are for," I said, returning the smile. "Mingi's lucky to have you, and I'm sure he'll feel the same way."
As we wrapped up our discussion, I felt a renewed sense of optimism. Yunho was ready to take the next step, and I had no doubt that Mingi would come around once he saw how much Yunho cared. All we had to do now was wait for the right moment.
