YUNHO'S POV

The plane ride back to Korea was agonizing, even though I spent the entire time planning tonight. The more I thought about it, the more my nerves started to creep in. What if Mingi was too tired? What if he didn't want to go out tonight after the whole airport situation? Worse, what if he didn't want the same thing I did? I was planning to officially ask him to be my boyfriend tonight, and the thought of him rejecting me twisted my stomach in knots.

When we finally landed and made our way through the airport, I stole a glance at Mingi. He looked tired, his eyes a bit heavier than usual, and for a second, I panicked. Maybe this was a bad idea. Maybe he'd just want to crash at the dorm and relax. But then, I knew I couldn't back out now.

"Mingi," I said, trying to sound confident despite the knot in my throat. He turned to me, curious. "I want to take you out tonight."

His smile was instant, brightening up his face and making me feel like I could breathe again. "Yeah? Where are we going?"

Relief washed over me, but the nerves were still there, lurking. "It's a surprise," I managed to say with a grin.

"Okay, I trust you." He chuckled, a sound that settled some of my anxiety.

But my mind was still racing as we got back to the dorm. Everyone was tired but happy to be home, and while they were busy unpacking, I couldn't focus on anything but tonight. I caught San's eye, trying to silently communicate that I needed to talk to him. He raised an eyebrow at me, but I didn't have time to be subtle.

"I'll help you unpack!" I announced loudly to San, earning a few curious glances from the others.

Wooyoung looked at us like we were the weirdest people he'd ever seen. "You two are so weird," he commented as we hurried off to San's room, San rolling his eyes at Wooyoung's remark.

As soon as we were inside, I closed the door and turned to San, my nerves now a full-on storm. "I told Mingi I'm taking him out tonight. I'm gonna ask him to be my boyfriend, San. Everything's planned, but I'm freaking out."

San's smirk widened as he leaned back against the wall, crossing his arms. "You'll be fine, Yunho. So, what's the plan?"

I took a deep breath, feeling the nerves tighten in my chest again. "Okay, so first, I'm taking him to one of our favorite restaurants. I'm going to book a private room, make it all special, you know? Somewhere we can just... be ourselves, without any distractions."

San nodded, his expression serious now as he listened. "Good choice. And after that?"

"After dinner, I'm taking him to that little ice cream shop we went to before our KQ audition. You remember the one, right? It was before we even knew we'd both end up auditioning for the same company."

San smiled at the memory. "Yeah, I remember."

"Then," I continued, starting to feel a bit more confident, "we'll take a walk while we eat our ice cream. There's this park we used to always go to when we spent all our time together. I'm going to take him there... and that's where I'm going to ask him."

San's smile softened, and he pushed off the wall to stand in front of me. "That sounds perfect, Yunho. He's going to love it."

I nodded, swallowing hard as the reality of what I was about to do sank in. "I hope so. I just... I really want him to say yes."

"He will," San said firmly, clapping a hand on my shoulder. "He'd be crazy not to."

I tried to let San's words calm my nerves, but I knew I wouldn't be able to relax until tonight was over. Still, with San on my side, I felt a little more ready to take that leap. Now, all I could do was hope that everything went according to plan.
