HONGJOONG'S POV

Practice had finally ended, and now it was time for the big surprise. Throughout the day, I had managed to discreetly fill in most of the team about the plan whenever Seonghwa stepped out to talk to Yeosang and Jongho. I even got the choreographer on board, asking if he could keep Seonghwa at the studio a little longer while the rest of us set everything up. He agreed without hesitation, knowing how much this meant to me.

As practice wrapped up, I caught San's eye and gestured for him to come over. "Can you fill in Jongho and Yeosang about the surprise?" I asked quietly.

San nodded with a small smile. "You got it. I'll make sure they know what's going on."

The plan was running smoothly. When practice officially ended, the choreographer did his part, asking Seonghwa to stay behind for a bit longer to go over a few details. Yunho and Mingi, always up for helping out, offered to stick around too, claiming they needed extra practice but really just ensuring they could bring Seonghwa back to the dorm when everything was ready.

With Seonghwa occupied, the rest of us quickly scurried out of the studio and headed straight to the dorm to begin preparations. Wooyoung and San went ahead, knowing there was a lot to set up, while I made a quick detour to a nearby store. I wanted to grab some last-minute decorations, and of course, I couldn't forget the flowers—many, many flowers.

As I filled my cart with blooms of all kinds, I couldn't help but picture Seonghwa's reaction. The way his eyes would light up, that shy smile of his, and the warmth that would spread across his face. It made the frantic planning and secret-keeping all worth it.

As I filled my cart with flowers, my phone buzzed with a message. It was San.

"We're at the dorm now. Wooyoung's already started hanging up the decorations. How's it going on your end?"

I smiled, texting back quickly. "Just grabbed a ridiculous amount of flowers. Should be there in 15 minutes. You guys doing okay?"

San replied almost immediately. "Yeah, Wooyoung's bossing everyone around, but we're making good progress. This place is gonna look amazing. Seonghwa's gonna love it."

I chuckled at the thought of Wooyoung taking charge. "Good. Make sure he doesn't overdo it, though. We still need energy for the big reveal."

San's response was playful. "No promises, but I'll try to keep him in check. Hurry back; we can't wait to see what you've got planned."

I finished up at the store, cramming as many flowers as I could into the car before speeding back to the dorm. As I pulled into the parking lot, I grabbed the bags and flowers, balancing them as best as I could while rushing inside.

When I finally got back to the dorm, my arms full of bags and flowers, I could see that the guys had been hard at work. Fairy lights were strung up around the room, casting a warm glow, and the candles San had been setting up added a soft, romantic touch. Wooyoung was still tinkering with the decorations, and San was fluffing some last-minute pillows.

I set the bags down and immediately started organizing the flowers. I wanted to create a bouquet that would be the centerpiece of the night. Carefully, I arranged them, combining the colors and types I'd picked out to make something beautiful—something worthy of Seonghwa. As I put the final touches on the bouquet, I stepped back, satisfied with how it turned out. It was big, vibrant, and bursting with life—just like the feelings I had for Seonghwa.

Next, I grabbed the bags of petals I'd bought. I knelt down and began laying them out, creating a trail from the front door to the living room. Each petal I placed felt like I was adding another layer to the story I wanted to tell tonight, a story that led to something truly special.
