"Is Kandi and Crystal coming?" Trina asked me. "Yeah, they coming later because Crystal is not in her headspace," I said setting up the table.
Today was the grand opening of my new restaurant. I'm very excited for it. Kandi and Crystal were coming later because we didn't want to be too nervous before everybody got here.
We didn't invite Marlo and Scotley because of the fight. Plus Crystal didn't want them there.
"I want everything to be smooth and calm," I said looking around.
"Everything looks good Tamika. I'm so proud of you." Trina said grabbing my shoulder. I let out a sigh.
"Thanks, Trina," I said.
"I'm finna see if the food is ready," She said walking to the back.
My phone started ringing. It was Kandi

I answered.
"Hello," I said walking to my office in the restaurant.
"Hey, how is everything going" She said. "It's going good. People are pulling up now." I said sitting down.
"Oh well we're on our way," She said.
"Ok, how's Crystal doing," I asked.
"She's nervous. She was fidgeting a lot when I was doing her makeup and hair" She said.
"I kept telling her everything gonna be ok but she's a little nervous" She added.
"Imma talk to her when y'all get here. So go to the back when y'all do." I said.
"Ok," She said.
"Bye," I said hanging up.
~~~~ 𝐊𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐢 "C'mon," I said getting out of the car with crystal. She hasn't really said anything.
I texted Tamika we were outside the door. She opened the door. "Y'all ladies look nice," She said letting us in.
"Thanks," I said. Crystal just stood there.
"Come here baby," Tamika said grabbing her hand and sitting in a chair. Crystal sat on her lap.
"What's wrong mama" Tamika asked. "I'm nervous" She whispered.
"Why" I asked.
"I don't wanna be myself," She said.
"You're not going to be by yourself baby," Tamika asked. "Why do you think that," I Asked
"Because I don't wanna feel like I'm bothering y'all when y'all social with y'all friends," She said playing with her fingers.
"Baby we don't care if you follow us for a while party. We actually wanted you to. Just for safety reasons." Tamika said.
