Chapter 17

"Tamika," I heard in my sleep. I felt a tight grip on my tank top. "Tamika wake up" I heard Kandi say.

I opened my eyes to see Kandi with a blue dress on. "I'm finna go," she said softly kissing my nose and then lips.

I stretched and looked over to see Crystal knocked out beside me with a tight grip on my shirt.

"Ok," I mumbled rubbing my eyes. "I'll see you at Tiny's house," she said pecking Crystal's cheek.

"Ok, I love you," she said walking away. "I love you too," I said falling back to sleep.

An hour later, I was woken by Crystal. "Dada,hungee," she said tapping me repeatedly.

"Ok, ok," I said sitting up. I saw it was 1:00. I bet she was hungry. "What you want to eat mama?"

"Nugget," she said grabbing the headboard and standing up. "you want fries," I asked pulling up my Chick-fil-A app. "fies"
she said.

I text Kandi if she ate and she said she's eating right now. After ordered our food, I got us ready.

"C'mon pooh," I said walking out. "Up Daddy," she said with her arms up. "Girl," I said picking her up.

I walked downstairs to see Crystal's bag already packed. Kandi must have packed it before she left.

I grabbed her bag and walked outside to the car after locking the door. I put Crystal in her car seat. I gave her iPad.

I got on the driver's side and pulled out of the driveway.

I drove to Chick-fil-A and pulled into a parking spot. I went to my phone and tapped the I'm here button.

As we waited to get our food. I got out and opened Crystal's door. "Come on mamas,"
I said picking her up and putting her in the passenger side of the front seat with me.

I got on the driver's side and turned the air conditioner on since it was so hot. I started recording for I don't know the reason.

"Hey y'all," I said into the camera. " Pooh say Hey," I said waving at the camera. She waved not looking at the camera, messing with something.

I shook my head. "So we're waiting for our food from Chic-Fil-A. She had got some nuggets and fries. And I got a chicken sandwich." I said.

Crystal was doing something because she kept reaching for something on the side of the seat.

"Pooh what you doin'" I asked her. She had finally got what she wanted when pulled her hand up.

It was a shoe from her stuffed bunny rabbit. "DADA," she said showing me the shoe. "I see mama"

I saw one of the workers walking up with our food. I rolled the window down and he said "Tamika?"

"Yes, that's me," I said grabbing the food.

"Thank you," I said.

"My pleasure," he said walking away. Crystal was reaching for her food because she knew what the kid's bag looked like.

"Hold on mama," I said grabbing her drink and sippy cup. I poured her drink into the sippy cup and screwed the top on.

I gave it to her and held the cup in her hand. I got her food out and set it up so she won't waste anything.

She got to eating so did I. I saw it was 2:00. Tiny told us to be here at 2:30. "So after we're going to Tiny's house." I said eating a fry.

I look over to see Crystal with Polynesian sauce all over her face. "Dang, is it good?"
I laughed grabbing her bag and grabbing a wipe.
