The project

Aurora's POV:

We got to the house and went inside. Aunt Laney was reading a book on the armchair in the living room.

"Hi Aunt Laney. Is it ok if ponyboy and I work on a project for school?" I asked.

"Yeah of course hun. Hi ponyboy" She smiled. He waved and then we went to my room to work on the project.

Ponyboy looked around my room at my posters on the wall, my desk, and other random things while I got started on the poster. Until he looked over and saw my books on a shelf. "You like readin?" He asked excitedly and smiled. "Yeah I love reading ! Why, do you?" I smiled excitedly.

"I love reading. Just cant afford books so I read books from the library" He said the last part quietly. I softened my expression a bit. "You can pick a few books out if you want.. I read most of em already" I smiled. "Really?" His face lit up. "Of course!" I smiled and went over to him by the book shelf. I pulled out my favorite book. 'Gone With The Wind' "This ones my favorite" I held out the book. "Really?? Mines too! Its the only book I got at home" He smiled. "Thats cool! You can pick out any book you want." I sat back down on my bed to do the project.

I sat on my bed and pony sat on my desk next to the bed as we worked on the project. we didnt get much done because we spent the whole time talking about movies and books.. I learned a lot about him. we had extremely common interests. we both liked movies, books, sunsets, and a bunch of other stuff. It was getting a bit later and Aunt Laney was finished with dinner. Me, Ponyboy, and Two-bit, were talking in my room when aunt laney came in. "Guys dinners ready if your hungry. Ponyboy are you staying for dinner?" She asked politely. "If its alright with you" He said. "of course" She smiled and left. 

Ponyboy called darry to let him know he was staying for dinner. We all ate at the table together. The food was good Aunt Laney made homemade burgers. After dinner was finished me and two-bit went to drop off ponyboy. I sat in the passenger seat while pony sat in the back. After we dropped off ponyboy the drive home two-bit was doing nothing but teasing. "Aurora and Ponyboy sittin' in a tree! K-I-S-S-I-N-G" He teased. I rolled my eyes. "Shut up." I chuckled.

We got home and I did my usual night routine. I showered and got into my pjs then read a chapter of the book I was reading before going to bed. for some reason that night I went to bed thinking about ponyboy..
