"Yes, there is word that the client have some hidden accounts in Mexico, he is there so I would appreciate it if you can go the week and go see him and get the file updated." he say and I nod. "Olivia will not be happy, but yes I will do it." I say and he smile. "Take her with, have a little vacation." he say and I frown. "Lily have school and ballet things going on." he nods standing up. "That is the shitty part of the job right, leaving your family." he say and I nod, already thinking this is just what me and Ava needs, I am going to ask her to go with me, it would be perfect. I say and she nods giving me a beer. "So John wants me to go to Mexico next week, and he already told me I can take you and Lily with but I know she has school and some important things going on." I say and she frown. "The whole week next week?" she ask and I nod. "Can't one of the junior attorneys go?" she ask and I shake my head. "No, because he wants one us to go because it's a big case." I say and she nods. "Okay I guess, if it's your work I understand." she say and I was relieved I was ready for a fight. I nod and walk to go shower.
