I frowned at my blood stained panties. "Sweet Satan in the sky, why did you make us women go through this again when we died?" I got into the shower as I tossed my panties in the garbage can. Once I got out of the shower, I heard Lucifer, my boyfriend for the past three months, knocking on the door. "Sweetheart, are you alright?" I cracked open the door as I was wearing my towel. "Yes my sweet. Why do you ask?" He quirked an eyebrow and said, "Because I saw blood on our sheets. It wasn't from me so I was wondering if you were hurt?"
My cramps began to come on and I groaned as it was hurting my abdomen. Lucifer quickly pushed himself through and held me with care. "Honey?! What's wrong?!" I held up my hand to signal him to hold on a minute as I composed myself. Once the cramps subsided, I stood back up and put on my fresh panties and a (tampon, pad, menstrual cup). Lucifer was still standing by as he watched me get dressed into something comfortable for the day.

I smiled as I freshened up and looked at him. "Sorry honey, I am on that time of the month." Lucifer looked at me with confusion. "The what?" I facepalmed and said "You know when female has to bleed through her vagina every month?" Lucifer looked at me with confusion. "I'm sorry I don't quite follow that, darling." I gave him a hug and said, "I'm alright, sweet apple tart. I just need to relax for the rest of the day."
Lucifers POV
I was so confused as to what she was saying. I watched as she settled down on the bed and held her stomach once more as these cramps were hurting her. I had to call my daughter to see what she means by 'the time of the month'. I walked out of the room into the hallway and called Charlie. "Heya Dad! Is everything alright?", She answered. "Well yes and no, Charlie. My darling and I have been doing great, however this morning, I saw blood on our sheets and she told me it was her time of the month. Do girls bleed through their vagina?? What the hell do I do?!" I started to panic unti I heard Charlie giggle.
"Calm down, Dad. (Y/n) is going through her period or menstrual cycle, as a professional would call it. Just give her some ibuprofen for her cramps or a heating pad. She will be on it for 5-7 days and she might be emotional. Just give her some time and space if she needs it. Oh! And plenty of chocolate or something salty for her to snack on. I love you, Dad. If you need anything else, just call me." I told her I love her too and we hung up. I took a deep breath in and walked back to our bedroom with some chocolate chip cookies and ibuprofen.
She was asleep and I smiled as I set the cookies and ibuprofen on the end table. I sat down gently on the bed and brushed a piece of her hair away from her face. I saw her stir a bit and she woke up. "Honey?", she said as I kissed her on top of her head. "Sorry for waking you darling. I wanted to give you some ibuprofen and some cookies for you."
Your POV
I smiled as I took the ibuprofen and took a bite of a cookie. "Sorry about the sheets, my love. I didn't know it was going to be that time of the month." Lucifer casted a spell to make the sheets clean again. "There we go, no harm done. I'm sorry you are going through this, my apple pie. I wish I could take away this pain for you." My hormones started as my tears came falling down my face. "I'm sorry for making this hard for you. I know you are working so hard and I'm holding you back." He held me close and rubbed my back. "No my darling! You aren't holding me back from working. I'm just making my rubber ducks and trying not to get into any trouble with the heaven council."
I looked up at him as he wiped a tear away from my cheek and kissed my lips. My cheeks flared with pink and I started to kiss him passionately. That caught him off guard and he pulled away, making me a little mad. "Why did you pull away?! I wanted to kiss you!" He got scared and quickly reclaimed my lips once more. I took off his hat and started to mess up his hair. Once I pulled away, I apologized to him. "I'm sorry for being a bitch..." Lucifer held me close and kissed me on top of my head. "You are so not a bitch. You are my sweetheart and Charlie told me what to do when you go through this um...time of the month." I curled up with him as he cuddled with me.
"I love you so much, Lucifer." He smiled down at me. "I love you too, my dear (Y/n)". I started to get comfortable until I heard rain falling. "Oh! I love the rain! Can we go to the gazebo, my love?" Lucifer got up and opened the balcony doors. He picked me up with a small protest from me. "Honey! I'm too heavy and bloated and fat..." Lucifer just chuckled and said, "Really? I don't think so, my darling. You are so beautiful and you are not fat. You are very cute." I watched as he opened his wings and flew us down to the garden with a gazebo. He summoned my cookies to enjoy with the rain pouring down.

"I love you, my sweet Lucifer," I said as I cuddled close to him. "I love you the most, my beautiful girl." We watched the rain pour harder. My eyes were feeling heavy from being tired. "Get some rest, my sweet." I looked up at him as he summoned a pillow for me to rest my head on his lap and he started to stroke my hair gently. The movement and the sound of the rain made me feel calm as I started to fall asleep.
