Lucifer was out during the battle of the Exorcists at the Hazbin Hotel. Lucifer was protective of me, so I couldn't join in the battle. I grew bored of staying home so I decided to make a cake for him. However, my mind was racing a hundred miles per hour as I kept thinking about him.
I should go see him! No, (Y/n), he wants you to trust him. But what if he got hurt?
I took the cake out of the oven once it was done baking and let it cook down before I put frosting on top. I looked outside and my head was starting to hurt from worrying so much. An hour later, I frosted the cake with icing and I put little red apple sprinkles on top.
I heard the front door open up and I ran quickly over. "Honey, I'm home!", Lucifer announced as I looked at him with tears rolling down my cheeks. His eyes quickly widened and hugged me close to his body. "Honey, what's the matter?" I looked at him. "I am so glad you are safe." I smacked him on the shoulder.
"Ouch!", he yelped. "Don't do that ever again! Not without me..." I hugged him close to my body. Lucifer chuckled as he kissed my head gently. "What's that delicious smell?" I looked at him with a smile. "I baked a cake while you were away." Lucifer brought us both in the kitchen as I had the cake sitting on a platter and he cut us a slice.
"This looks very good, my dear." We sat down and ate our slices and I stared at Lucifer with love. Lucifer caught sight of me staring of him. "My dear...I am so sorry for worrying you, but I don't want you to get hurt." My heart ached as he said that. "Honey, I know how to fight." Lucifer held my hand and stroked it with his thumb. "I know, my darling, but I can't bear the loss of you or my daughter, Charlie. I want you to be safe as possible, when the time comes from when the Exorcists come back in the future."
I looked at him as we got done with our plates and I took a sigh. "I understand honey, I just wish I can help you and I cannot bear the thought of losing you." Lucifer came behind me as I washed the dishes, kissing my neck gently. "I'll be alright my darling. I love you so much." I looked at him as I finished the dishes and I took his coat off. "Come on, let's go relax for the evening." Lucifer nodded as we went upstairs to get dressed for the night.
I stripped off my clothes and I looked at Lucifer as he was naked. My cheeks flushed as I have seen him multiple times naked since we have been together for 3 years, but every time I see him undress, my cheeks flush bright pink. Lucifer looked at me and smiled as he walked into the bathroom. I heard the water for the bathtub fill up and Lucifer came back to me as he led me into the bathtub.

"Honey, what is this?", I asked as he set us both in the tub. "I wanted to make it up to you to worry so much about me. I want to help you relax." I looked at him with love and I kissed his lips gently. Lucifer kissed me back with equal love and passion. Once we pulled away, I laid my head down on his chest. "I love you so much," I said as I felt him stroke my back with his hand. "I love you too, my sweet apple pie," Lucifer said as he looked at me with love. The evening was peaceful with some rain outside pouring down.
"I hope those scumbag Exorcists don't ever come back," I grumbled as I felt Lucifer wash my shoulders. "I agree my dear. They are lucky I went easy on them, until Adam died." My eyes widened. "That shit bag got killed?! Oh my goodness that made my night." Lucifer cleared his throat and I blushed. "With the exception of you of course my darling." Lucifer chuckled and pulled me close to his body. "Damn right! That asshole was always trying to get to you. Now he's dead and I am so relieved he won't bother you anymore."
I giggled as Lucifer kissed me with so much passion. Our tongues fought one another until I gave in to Lucifer and he held me close. We pulled away and got out of the tub as we got a towel for us. We got dressed and we made it to our bedroom. I smiled at Lucifer as he got our bed ready for the evening. I got comfortable with the blanket wrapped around me by Lucifer. "Oh my love, I am sorry for worrying you so much today," Lucifer said as he looked down at me. I smiled at his apology and I kissed him on the lips gently.
"It's alright honey. Adam is dead which is great news and you came home safely." Lucifer brought my head up and kissed me with passion. We pulled away and Lucifer turned the lights off. "We both need some sleep my darling." I nodded as I rested my head on his chest. "Goodnight my love." He kissed me down on my head. "Goodnight, my apple pie."
The next morning
I was watching the news in my pajamas while sipping my coffee. "Breaking news! The Exorcists are now defeated for the time being. The head of the Exorcists, Adam was killed yesterday and everyone in Hell is celebrating their victory". Lucifer came beside me and kissed me on top of my head. "Good morning, beautiful". I smiled as he sat down beside me with his hair still messy and in his pajamas. I set my coffee down and I kissed him on the cheek. "Good morning my love. I just saw the news of Adam being killed." Lucifer chuckled with triumph as he wrapped his arm around me. "That's right! He can suck it!" I smiled as I kissed Lucifer while we cuddled for the rest of the day.
