Lucifer's POV

As soon as she said she still loved me for this long, my heart fluttered so high in a long time. I listened to her singing with tears falling down her face, my heart began to ache after what I told her a couple years ago. I looked down at my wedding ring and felt guilty for what I have done. Once she was done singing, I clapped for her and everyone else joined in. Once the room settled, I walked on stage to go find (Y/n) and she wasn't there. I looked all around for her until I noticed her outside on the balcony.

Flashback 2 years ago

"I can't keep this a secret anymore. We can still be friends right?" I asked her. Though she smiled at me, she looked like a semi had ran her over. "Fine. That's alright with me as long as you are happy. So I'll be out of your hair and enjoy your life together." My heart ached for her to say that, but I stood my ground and touched her hair. She pulled away and glanced at Lilith, who was standing in my living room with a smile. (Y/n) looked back at me and said "Have fun with her." I tried to reach out for her and it was too late. She left and I was with Lilith.

Lilith and I had a divorce in the next coming years afterwards as she thought I wasn't good enough for her and Charlie. I stared at my wedding ring with pain in my heart. However, something was missing in my life to the point of driving me into a deep depression. Until one day, Charlie called me to go see her new idea of rehabilitation to demons and sinners.

Flashback End

I opened the door and closed it quietly behind me as I saw her looking around the Pride Ring. I walked to her as she turned to face me. "Hello, my dear," I said and mentally slapped myself for that as she is probably still upset at me. "Hello, Lucifer. How have you been?" I smiled as I loved hearing her voice. "I've been doing great! Yeah I have been busy making my rubber ducks and that's about it." She smiled as I looked into her beautiful eyes that were still wet from crying. I got my handkerchief out from my pocket and gave it to her. "Thank you. I hope that the song wasn't too awkward for you."

My heart rose as she looked at me with care. "Not at all. I want to apologize for my behavior a couple years ago. I loved Lilith, but we didn't quite work out. Then I got depressed over the Heaven Council turning me down." She turned to me and asked me, "Is there someone in your life, Lucifer?" I looked down and confessed, "I had a few one night stands with women." She was about to walk away and I grabbed her arm. "But it was just to get back at someone from Heaven who was an ass."

Your POV

My heart sank as he said he had one night stands with other women and I was about to leave until he gave me his side of the story. Lucifer summoned a chair for us to sit in. "I understand if you are angry or upset with me for what I have done, but I want you to know how much you mean to me." My heart was aching in pain as he said that and what he said as we were both different from one another. "What I am upset about is the fact that you didn't want me because we were different from one another. I'm not an overlord or royalty like you are! I get that! And I don't give a flying fuck about how different we are. Because why should it matter in the first place?"

Lucifers eyes wandered downwards and looked back up at me. "Because at the time I was an idiot and didn't realize how much you mean to me...And if you don't want to talk to me ever again, I understand that completely." I stared at him as my hand reached up to his cheek. Part of me wants to slap him into the next Ring over and the other half wants me to kiss him. Lucifer looked at me with his glistening yellow eyes. "Oh fuck Lucifer. What the hell are you saying? I want to talk to you and for fucks sake, I want to be with you. I always wanted to be with you."

Lucifer held my hands in his and said, "Really? Even after what I said, you still want to be with me?" I smiled as I rubbed his cheek with my hand. "Yes! I never wanted to stop loving you and that's why I kept on singing that song since I worked here. I don't want you to let me go..." Lucifer held me close to his body and kissed me on the lips. My Satan! His lips still tastes like apples and cinnamon. I felt a drop on my head and pulled away. "What? Did I do something-oh!" More drops began to fall and it started to pour heavily on us. "Oh shit! We better get inside!", Lucifer proclaimed until I pulled him back on top of me, kissing his lips once more with passion. By this point, we were completely drenched, but I didn't care. I wanted Lucifer for a long time and rain isn't going to change that for me.

Lucifer stared at me as we pulled away. "You little..." I giggled as I took off his hat and his hair that was once slicked was now messy and dripping wet from the rain and put it on my head. "I love you too, honey. You'll have to come and get me for that." I quickly got up and ran like my life depended on it in the hotel. Once I got in my hotel room, I was panting out of breath and walked towards my bed until I ran into Lucifer, who was flying at my height. "Oh you little minx. You thought you could hide from ol'Lucifer hmm?" Lucifer caught me in his arms as he got us ready for a warm bath.

I had some trouble undoing my dress and Lucifer unzipped it for me. "Such a beautiful sight to see." My eyes wandered to his body. "I'll say...Fucking shit." Lucifer chuckled as we settled down in the tub. We heard my bedroom door slam open. "WHO THE FUCK GOT WATER ALL OVER THE FLOOR?!", Angel Dust demanded until his eyes wandered to Lucifer and I. Lucifer shielded my body and his fist turned into fire. "What was that?", He asked in a threatening tone. Angel Dust shrieked as he backed away. "Shit! I'm sorry, must've been a different guest. Go back to whatever it was you two were doing."

Angel Dust ran out and I looked up at Lucifer with love. "Thank you sweetie." Lucifer calmed down and kissed me as we enjoyed our bath for the evening.

Next Morning

I woke up with Lucifer still asleep. I chuckled as I kissed him gently before getting up for my morning coffee. I walked down to the lobby and saw everybody with big smiles. "Oh my goodness! You are back with my dad?!", Charlie asked as she got excited and hugged me. I looked around and saw Angel Dust smirking until he saw Lucifer coming down with a scared expression. "Good morning, my two beautiful girls." He kissed Charlie on the head and me on the lips. I giggled as we settled on a couch for our morning breakfast.
