I was finishing up in the garden and I wanted to give Lucifer a fresh vase full of black and purple roses. I got them prepped for him and I placed the flowers in the vase with some fresh water and placed a decorative red apple in the center of the roses. I had to make sure nobody saw what I was up to so I quickly put the vase in my bedroom for the time being.
It was nearing nightfall as everyone was getting ready for bed and I got myself into pajamas. I was carrying the vase and I walked down the hallway to find where Lucifer was. Before that, I looked at the hotel booklet while no one was looking to find Charlie's handwriting with her dad's name and room: Penthouse. I looked around at the top of the hotel and I finally found it. I knocked on the door gently.
No response.
Maybe a second knock. Nope. So I had a spare key to get in and I opened it to hear the shower going. My cheeks were reddened at the thought of Lucifer showering. I placed the vase on the dresser and I waited for Lucifer to come out, but I tripped over Lucifer's suitcase and I landed with a loud thud. "Whose out there?!", Lucifer asked with an angry tone in his voice. I shrieked as I tried to get up. "It's me! (Y/n)!" I heard the shower turn off and I waited for Lucifer to come out and he was in his pajamas within seconds. "Oh (Y/n), you scared me. I thought you were that creepy Alastor fellow."
I was helped up by Lucifer as he set me down on the bed. "What are you doing up this hour?" I looked at him with his beautiful eyes. "No reason. I thought we would just talk." Lucifer smiled at me and chuckled. "Seems as though you have never changed. I remember the days when you worked for me and you were kinda clumsy." I blushed in embarrassment. "I was not!" Lucifer chuckled as he slicked back his wet hair. "Oh it's alright. I would always have to tend to your knees because you tripped over little things and wound up with cuts and bruises."
I looked at him with a small smile as it has been a while hearing him chuckle. I gave a small pout in response and said "That's because you would leave your supplies lying around." Lucifer smiled at me as he calmed down from laughing. "Yeah, yeah." I looked at him with a smile and rubbed my hand on his shoulder. "It's really nice to see you again Lucifer. Do you have anybody at your mansion?" Lucifer looked at me and responded "Not really. I mean, I did have a lady just for getting back at someone, but it was only a one night stand." I looked down at that answer and Lucifer saw my expression.
"Why do you ask?" I shot up with a surprised reaction and said, "Nothing! I was just curious is all and I wanted to know if anybody was in your life." Lucifer frowned and put his hand around my shoulder. "Nah, there is something that you aren't telling me." I looked at him with worry and confessed. "Alright! You caught me! I umm...wanted to tell you something I should've told you a long time ago." Lucifer smiled at me before his eyes landed on the dresser with the black and purple roses with an apple as a decoration.
"Did you bring those up here for me?" I nodded as he got up and smelt the roses and had a smile once he saw the apple decoration. "Oh my goodness! Thank you so much!", he said as I got up to hug him. I pulled back as I realized what I did and apologized profusely. "Oh Satan! I am so sorry, Lucifer. I didn't mean to do tha-". Lucifer hugged me back in a tight embrace. I breathed out a gasp as he continued to hug me. I smelt apple and cinnamon on his clothing, bringing me nostalgia from when I used to work for him.
Lucifer pulled back and faced me with a small smile. "I think I know the main reason why you asked me." I was in shock as he leaned in to kiss me deeply on my lips. My body melted in his embrace and kissed him back with the same amount of passion. We were interrupted by the door opening and Charlie coming in. "Hey dad, I brought you some..." I was in a state of shock as Lucifer and I were still in each other's arms. "Charlie! It's not what-" Charlie started squealing uncontrollably.

"OH MY GOODNESS! MY DAD AND (Y/N) ARE IN LOVE!!!! You both are very welcome to stay at the hotel for a while!" I was blushing as Charlie gave us both a big hug and Lucifer looked at us both with a big smile. "Yay! I get to spend more time with my two favorite girls! TAKE THAT, DEPRESSION!" I couldn't help but laugh at Lucifer's remark as I hugged him and Charlie back.
2 months later
"Ouch! Sweetheart, how the hell do you touch the roses without pricking yourself on the thorns?", Lucifer asked as we were in the garden at his mansion. I chuckled as I inspected his finger and pulled the thorn out. "Use a light touch, sweetie and touch the stem like this." I demonstrated as I used his fingers to touch the stem gently and he looked up at me with a smile. We placed the roses in the basket and got up after a long day of gardening. "I hate to say this sweetheart, but I don't like dirt as much as you do." I chuckled as Lucifer was trying to get the dirt off his hands.
"I told you to bring gloves," I said as I brushed my head on his shoulder. Lucifer rolled his eyes and kissed me as the fountain started up. This was a perfect moment for us to spend time with each other while I still had a job at the Hazbin Hotel and Lucifer was getting better at his rubber duck collection.
