4| just lose it

Green lights flashing everywhere I look. As I make my way over to Astoria and Pansy I think back to my conversation with Malfoy. Sure we didn't end on the best terms necessarily but he shouldn't have been that...moody towards me?

We were inseparable when we were little..then that happened and we stopped. We never saw each other again until now and I don't think it was a good idea to. He..has an effect on me. One that would be hard to pass up if we acted on it, but I won't. I cant.

I reach Astoria and Pansy and they immediately flash me drunken smiles. Both of them leaning against the wall and in the middle of the crowd.

"Guys are you serious? You got drunk two fucking seconds into the party?" I accuse and give them both furrowed brows and a half smile on my face at their outrageous behavior.

"We're...not..that...dru-" Astoria was cut off by vomiting what ever she drank onto the nearest guy's shoes. I roll my tounge on the inside of my mouth and cross my arms and look at her nodding my head.

"Not. That. Drunk. And yet you're throwing up? Tori really? I'm getting you both back to our dorm, cmon." I state.

As Pansy and Astoria both rely on me to stay up, I slowly struggle and try my best to walk back towards the corridor next to our dorm. As I'm wobbling, I almost drop Pansy but someone sweeps in to help me...someone I faintly recognize.

"Why do I feel as if I know you from somewhere?" I ask the boy carrying pansy now. With my confused facial expressions, he lets out a chuckle and answers me.

"Maybe this'll help...Ari.." He says back

"THEODORE NOTT! Still as challenged in the head as I remember huh? And the stupid nickname..for the last time Theo, it's Briar." I slightly shout at him.

He lets out a chuckle and shakes his head and looks at me in a amused way. With his free hand, not occupied by pansy, he ruffles my hair which causes me and him to smile and laugh.

"Nice to see you again too Ari." Theo says and winks at the same time with his stupid smirk. As we continue walking to my dorm, we finish catching up and eventually reach my dorm door.

"Well Theo, it was nice catching up with you..I missed you, and draco, and Blaise of course..although I haven't quite got the chance to even catch up with him at all?" I knowingly say.

"It was nice for me as well, and as for Zambini, I'll get him to visit you tomorrow and say his hellos don't worry." Theo smiles and silently and carefully takes Pansy out of his arms and lays her on her bed before turning back to me.

"Thanks again. You didn't have to help." I shake my head and give him a faint smile.

"Anytime Briar. Seriously. If you need me, I'm guessing you know where to find me, I'm assuming Malfoy told you?" Theo accuses. He furrows his brows and puts his hands on his hips with his rolled up sleeves.

"No but I'm sure I'll be fine if I do. Night Theodore." I say as I walk over to my bed across the room and crawl under the black silk duvet.

"Night Ari." With that, Nott leaves the dorm and shuts the door behind him and I use my wand to shut off all of the lights, getting comfortable in my bed.

As the night progresses, I get sucked into another terrifying nightmare, but before I let it get to me completely, I sit up quickly in bed and just breath heavily, no crying this time. I look around in the dark room and notice that Astoria's cat is laying in my bed with me.

I pet the cat and lay back into my bed sinking into my sheets and letting the sleepy feeling overtake me once more.

The morning rays peaked through Pansy's side of the room and I slowly fluttered my eyes open. I look over in front of me across the room and see Astoria and Pansy groaning and complaining. Before I get up, I take a moment and sigh heavily cause I know I have to take care of them cause they got too hungover.

"Well. Learned your lesson?" I look down at the both of them on our couches in our dorm and question them. With a couple groans and complaints from the two of them combined, I let out a soft chuckle and walk over to my bed and make it. As I finish, I start to head towards my robes for the school day, and change into them.

I struggle to drag Pansy and Astoria off of our couches but manage to just in time for them to get changed for the day. As they change and finish, I open our dorm door and we start to head down to the great hall for breakfast.

When we arrive at the hall, we take our seats at the Slytherin table and start to eat, but something catches my attention. All three of the major guys walking into the great hall.  Theodore, normal..Blaise, Normal...Draco, bloody lip and black eye..

What happened and who happened are the only two questions swirling through my head. All my head is occupied with is worries about Malfoy and what could've possibly caused this. That was until I look behind them and catch the eye of Pucey with Draco's same energies but 10x worse...
