5|each time you fall in love

Staring at Adrian made me wonder what could've caused the fight between him and Draco. I mean sure they've never liked each other, even when we were kids, but I didn't know they would go as far as to beat each other in the face.

Speechless. It's what I am right now seeing those two walking into the hall. I lock eyes with Theo and Blaise and mouth the words, "What happened?"

Theo and Blaise share a look and then slightly smile but not fully. Blaise mouths back, "Let's just say Draco does anything to anyone who pisses him off." Theo and Blaise both snicker from across the room and sit down with Draco, as Adrian keeps walking till he's sitting with Lucian Bole longways down the table.

I scoff and turn my attention back to Astoria and Pansy who are sitting in front of me across the table and chatting about potions class and Mad-eye. When they notice I'm looking at them in confusion, Pansy stops talking and says, "What's up Briar?", I look up from the table.

"Nothing..just..nothing." I respond and put my head in my hands and run my fingers through my hair. I then look back over at Draco who is already looking at me with his bloody lip and bruised eye.

"Dude, just tell her what you did and why you did it." Theo tries to get a point across to the boy who is still eye locked on me.

"It's not that simple. Briar and me..we grew apart, and I'm sure as hell she wouldn't want to hear why I did it." Draco negotiates to Theo. He has his arms crossed in the table and is looking at her half worriedly and half intrigued.

"Whatever you say Malfoy, just saying, you might want to tell her sooner or later." Blaise says before pushing his plate forward signaling he's done with breakfast.

"Woah what happened to Malfoy!" Astoria says while laughing and looking at Draco from across the table.

"Same thing that happened to Pucey I would assume!" Pansy chuckles back while hitting Astoria in the arm, making me pick my head up and letting out a soft laugh along with them. When we all finish breakfast, we three go towards potions class.

As we walk to potions, Theodore Nott comes up and taps Astoria on the shoulder.

"Hey Astoria..wanna hang out today?" He questions and Astoria immediately smiles and Theo smirks back.

"Depends Nott. Where and when?" Astoria sneakingly flirts back. Me and Pansy give each other looks and raise our eyebrows at Theo in front of Astoria.

"Common room. 6pm. I'll see you there." Theo seductively says and let's us walk away into potions, me and Pansy both hit her in the arm playfully and tease Tori about her and Theos soon to be relationship, while he goes back to his original spot behind us, walking with Draco and Blaise, following us into the dungeons.

At the front of the class is Professor Moody, looking disheveled as always. Up at the front of the class with him in the dim lit room, is a spider on the table. Some students look intrigued while others look disgusted. He then speaks up, "Who can tell me one of the three Unforgivable Curses?"

My eyes completely widen and my eyebrows furrow at his question that was so upfront and confrontational. Neville Long bottom, a smart guy, interesting..to say the least, speaks up with an answer of Imperius and Moody demonstrates which makes Granger yell for him to stop.

I look over at the noise that caught my attention which was all three of the slytherin boys I knew laughing at Granger yelling.

The next curse demonstrated was Crucio and Avada Kedavra..the most unforgivable with immediate death..besides Harry Potter. The boy my father is the godfather of. The boy that has stole all of my father's attention when he's around. The hate for Harry from me goes deep down but it'll never show to keep my father happy. It's not my place to be difficult.

With potions class over, the next class was DADA, defense against the dark arts with Professor Lupin, my favorite of my father's close friends. I've known him since I was little and we've always had a second father and daughter kind of relationship. So when this class came around I was happy to see him for the first time in a while.

I walk in with Pansy and Astoria and immediately go to the front of the classroom to see him and give him a hug.

"Hey cub, welcome back. For godrics sake you're all grown up!" He explains and makes me laugh at the nickname and his affection. He reciprocates the same big smile and ruffles my hair which causes me to pretend fake pout and fix my hair.

"Good to see you too Lupin, I missed you!" With that, I sit at my table way in the back with my girls. Sitting in front of me is Adrian Pucey and Lucian Bole who are chatting away and Adrian looks pissed as hell, still covered in bruises and cuts on his lip and nose.

Just as the class goes on, a note gets thrown on my desk in a crinkled ball. As I pick it up and inspect the outside of it, I look back to see who threw it, Draco sitting behind me, leaning back in his chair and acting like he didn't do anything but raises his eyebrows at the ball and nods his head forward, signaling for me to open it.
