we had travelled round all of time for a few days and still no sign of the aliens untill on time we stopped we saw it so we got the tardis to get a lock on signal.
''Charlotte, can we talk for a minute?'' river asked. i nodded and she lead me into her room. as soon as we got to the bedroom river locked the door.
"What's up?" I asked, river and I sat on the bed river put a hand on her stomach.
"Well over the past 9 months I've became more stressed and wanting to eat more and my stomachs been hurting quite a lot ." She explained
"Why didn't you tell the doctor all of this?" I asked "I wanted to talk to a woman about this, not a man" she replied
"Do you have any ideas what I could be?" I asked. She looked down at her stomach,thought for a minute sighed and said "pregnancy?" she replied
"do you want me to check that for you?" I asked. She nodded. I got up and opened the drawer, inside that drawer there was a stethoscope.
"Lie down please" I said. She did what I said. I pulled her top up a bit and noticed stretch marks on her stomach. I placed the stethoscope on her stomach and listened, every so often I would move it and listen. I didn't hear anything the first and second time I moved it but the third time I heard a little heart beat in river stomach.
I smiled when I said this. "River, you are pregnant." She smiled back and she hugged me and I felt her crying on my shoulder.
"When are you gonna tell the doctor?" I asked. "Oh,um, now, yes let's tell him now."she replied.
We got up off the bed and unlocked the door and walked out. When we were back in the control room the doctor was sitting on the chairs. "Hey can I borrow the scanner for a minute I need to double check something." I said. I swirled round the scanner and did a proper pregnancy test on river.
"Can I see?" Asked the doctor "when it is done. River was also looking at the screen looking really excited.
When the scanner stopped deciding whether she was pregnant or not. It stopped on positive. We both did a little scream of joy,but the doctor looked confused."what are you celebrating about?" He asked. I showed him the scanner and he went wide eyed. River was crying of joy
"Your...." Said the doctor "yeah" replied river. "Your pregnant." Said the in shock doctor. The doctor and river hugged for 5mins until I said "guys alien illness"
''oh yeah.'' they separated and opened the doors. then i saw the alien spaceship.
