Author’s POV :-

The sun cast a warm, golden glow across the living room, where Disha sat on the floor, gently swaying Siddharth in her lap as he clutched her finger, his tiny fist determined not to let go. His wide, innocent eyes gleamed with curiosity, watching his mother with the kind of wonder only a child could have. His soft giggles echoed in the room as Disha leaned down, peppering his face with tender kisses.

Just then, Daksh came running in, clutching a crayon-drawn masterpiece of what looked like a family of stick figures, with a giant sun in the corner. "Mumma, look! I made our family!" he announced proudly, holding it up to his parents. Shaurya, who had been observing them with a fond smile from the doorway, came forward and knelt beside Daksh.

"Is that me?" he asked, pointing to the tall figure with messy, colorful scribbles that Daksh had insisted were Shaurya’s “cool” hair.

Daksh nodded enthusiastically, his eyes bright. "And that’s Mumma, and that's me, and… that little one is Siddhu!" he said, pointing to a tiny figure that seemed a bit wobbly, just like Siddharth himself.

Disha’s heart swelled with warmth as she watched her boys together. She reached over and pulled Daksh in for a gentle hug. "You've drawn such a beautiful family, Daksh! I love it," she whispered, brushing her fingers through his soft hair. Daksh beamed, snuggling closer to his mother, his little hand reaching out to pat Siddharth’s chubby cheek with the gentleness of a big brother.

Siddharth cooed, recognizing his brother’s touch, and tried to lean toward Daksh, his hands clapping with excitement. Shaurya chuckled as he watched his youngest, clearly enthralled by his big brother. "Looks like someone already has a hero," he murmured, kissing Disha’s forehead softly as he wrapped an arm around her.

Their family was a tapestry woven from love and laughter, with Daksh's innocent pride, Siddharth’s contagious laughter, and the bond of two parents who had found their true happiness in each other and in the home they had built.

Later that evening, as a soft drizzle tapped against the windows, Shaurya decided to turn the cozy night into a fun family moment. He gathered some blankets and pillows in the living room, crafting a little fort that instantly captivated Daksh. His eyes sparkled with excitement as he crawled inside, pulling Siddharth along by his tiny hand, determined to share the adventure with his little brother.

Disha laughed softly, watching Daksh guide his baby brother with the utmost care. Siddharth stumbled a bit, his unsteady feet taking small, wobbly steps, but Daksh held him tight, offering support in the way only a proud big brother could. Once inside the fort, Daksh settled down with Siddharth by his side, pulling out a toy car and a stuffed bunny that had been well-loved over the years.

"Mumma, Papa!" Daksh called, poking his head out of the fort. "Come inside! It’s a secret hideout!"

Disha and Shaurya exchanged amused glances, then crawled into the makeshift fort, where Daksh eagerly shared his “secret treasures” with them. "This is my favorite car," he announced proudly, pushing it toward Siddharth, who stared at it in awe before clumsily trying to roll it back to Daksh. Their laughter was a melody that filled the room, simple and pure.
