Jay had made the turney team to which was greatly surprising and also totally expected. I think it was more surprising to see how much he enjoyed it. He was so happy, so excited for it. I had never seen him truly excited for something as simple as running and hitting a puck thing into a small wooden held paddle. I guess running into people was always a plus, he definitely enjoyed stealing the puck, and he loved the physical contact. So basically I don't see a point why he wouldn't. Other than the team playing part but even still. It was really nice to see. Carlos had made the team but he wasn't nearly as happy about it. He was there because Jay stuck his neck out for him. I grabbed another notebook from my locker and pulled it to my chest. In the corner of my eye, I watched as some dumb rich spoiled looking kid  (an estimated guess) and Aubrey stoped and stared at me. He hit the chest of Ben and said something as he followed to a stop.

"Bye girls." Evie said from behind me.

"Bye." Mal and I responded.

"Oh, I didn't get a chance to ask." Mal started. I turned to look at her. "You and the Princess this morning?"

I say her eyes glance back, mostly luckily at the said Princess. I rolled my eyes playfully.

"He caught me as soon as I stepped out of my room. I figured instead of letting him think I was skipping, I said I was lost. It worked." I shrugged my shoulder to add to my response.

"Why?"

"To get in his good gracias. I haven't had the opportunity to talk to you guys about it but I have a plan. It-" I started explaining only for her to interrupt me.

"You should close your locker so we can get to class in time."

I felt my face grow very confused as to my brain but I went with it anyway.

"Okay..." I said as I turned and closed my locker.

I jumped slightly at the boy hiding behind it.

"Hey." He stated.

I used my foot and quietly kicked Mal's leg.

"How your first day?" He asked.

One side of Ben's body was leaning against the lockers. He was wearing something more causal yet still formal and Princely. A light blue cotten dress jacket with a yellow stitched beast embroidered on the chest pocket. It fit him. I will only ever admit this in my head, but he looked good. I liked him in more casual clothing even if this was his casual. My eyes tracked a familiar girl as she made herself smaller and got ready to fast pace shuffle past us. Jane. I turned my body slightly and handed back a notebook with my spell book hidden under it.

"Mal. Ask Jane out questions and maybe even try making a friend." Mal gave a confused expression she quickly replaced with a smile as she followed Jane to where Jane was headed.

"Mal should take an art class." Ben said, pointing to her logo she had spray painted on her locker.

My eyebrows raised at his statement. "You think she needs a class?"

"Oh, no, no. I meant it would be better used in a class. Not on lockers." His voice was rushed and clearly nervous with the slight stuttering.

I smiled and pulled back a soft chuckle. "Relax. I'll let her know but I have to warn you, I know exactly what she'll say. 'Way to take the fun out of it.' As for school... it's school."

Ben let out a short laugh. "I can understand. What qestions do you have for Jane? If you don't mind me asking. Maybe I can help."

"Just a couple questions about class. Aren't I supposed to be helping you with something?"
