The mirror shows a stranger,
A face she can't embrace.
Her eyes reflect a darkness,
A self-loathing she can't erase.
Each flaw a heavy burden,
A weight she can't outrun.
She whispers cruel pronouncements,
"You're worthless, you're undone."
A silent scream within her,
A heart that feels so cold.
She hates the girl she sees,
A story yet untold.
