Each day passes, each night, a silent sigh.
Somebody saw you with her last night,
In the shadows, love's flame burning bright.
Each moment a dagger, piercing deep,
Reckless choices, secrets to keep.

In the darkness, love's betrayal takes flight.
Days drift by, nights filled with tears,
Reckless whispers, feeding fears.
