The laughter we shared, a distant chime,
Your absence echoes, through the passage of time.
A void in my heart, a space unfilled,
A best friend's love, forever stilled.
At our usual spot, a chair stands bare,
A silent reminder, of a love beyond compare.
The memories we made, a bittersweet pain,
A best friend's departure, a love in vain.
Though you're gone from sight, your spirit remains,
A shining star, that forever sustains.
In the depths of my heart, your love will reside,
A best friend's memory, a love that won't hide.
