TORI
After cooking and enjoying breakfast, I slipped into my hot pink bikini, ready to spend the day by the pool. I was eager for a day of relaxation, free from the constant calls of "cut" or "action." It was my mini-vacation at home, and I intended to savor every moment.
"Woah," echoed as I descended the stairs. All four of the guys were standing there. Oliver wasn't looking, and I knew it was because he respected Rachel, which made me smile. Archer and Daniel quickly glanced away, but Theo couldn't take his eyes off me.
I chuckled. "You fellas want to join me in the pool today? It's supposed to be nice weather, and I have plenty of sunscreen and towels."
"Uh, we don't have swim trunks. We're Secret Service agents acting as your bodyguards. We aren't lifeguards," Archer stated.
"I know that Archer. You know you can jump in with whatever you have on. I'm not going to scold you for doing so. Theo did that last night."
Oliver raised his brow. "Last night, huh? You two got up some mischief last night, didn't you?"
My face turned red. "Uh, haha, maybe a little. We had some fun."
Theo came around the counter and wrapped his arms around my waist. He gave me so many butterflies, and I felt safe in his arms. My mother sent this man to me. I just knew it.
"You guys aren't going to tell Patterson about this, are you? We must tell him ourselves, but we don't care about his approval, right?" Theo asked, looking down at me.
I nodded. "That's right. My father has no say over my life, considering he hasn't been in it until now. Even now, he isn't really in it. I feel he needs to know since Theo works under him. I understand if you guys disapprove, but please let us tell him."
The guys shrugged. "We don't care, Tori. Obviously, you both care about and like each other. I think we all found that out last night. Good for you two, though," Daniel said.
I smiled and patted Daniel on the shoulder. "I knew you guys would understand. I'm going into the pool now. Arianna is coming over later, too, so be nice. Feel free to join us."
"Arianna is coming?" Archer asked.
I smirked at Archer and nodded. "Yes, she is. Do you like her?"
Archer looked around the room as if I wasn't asking him. "Uh, I mean, who doesn't? It's Arianna Carter."
I laughed. "Arianna needs a boyfriend because she is always prying into my life. Why don't you... I don't know, try talking to her when she arrives later. I'm sure she would like that."
"Okay, I'll do that."
The guys laughed, and I frowned at them. "What is so funny?"
"Archer can't talk to girls. He always gets shy and walks away," Daniel said.
I rolled my eyes. "So how about you be his friend instead of his co-worker and help him a little when she gets here? We aren't all as cocky as you."
Laughter filled the room again, but Daniel wasn't laughing. I smiled, and Theo kissed my cheek.
"You aren't going to say anything?" Daniel asked, looking at Theo.
Theo grinned and shook his head. "No, because Tori has a point. Now, decide if you are coming to the pool or not. I will put sunscreen on Tori so she doesn't become a tomato today."
I turned back at Theo, feeling surprised. "You are?"
"Yeah, you can't reach your back yourself, can you?"
