TORI
Theo, who had saved a damsel in distress from further harm, took me back to his home. Because of the darkness of the night, I still had not seen his face. Theo chose not to look directly at me anymore, and I wondered why.
"You can stay here for the night. The bed has fresh sheets, and the bathroom has fresh towels. Please make yourself at home."
"Where are you going?" I asked.
He answered with his back facing me, "I have some business to take care of. Don't worry. I'm sorry for what happened tonight. I hope you will be alright."
I faked a smile. "I'll be okay." I didn't know if I would be, but time would tell.
Theo left, and this time, I was truly alone. Theo's home was beautiful. It was smaller compared to mine but just as lovely. I wondered who he was, what he did, and why he chose to help me tonight. He may not have gotten there in time, but I was sure he saved me from any further trauma that was to come from those men.
I shivered as I walked into the bathroom. As I looked into the mirror, I noticed my makeup was smeared and mascara had run down my cheeks. My cheek that hit the ground was covered in dirt and had dried blood on it from a minor scrape. I must've looked like a total wreck to my rescuer.
My heart raced as I peeled my expensive dress off my body, which was now ruined. I'd burn it after what happened tonight and anything else I wore. I couldn't go to the hospital and tell what happened, or else the media would follow me. I can see the headlines now, as well as Logan's reaction. Logan would have a fit if he found out. He cared deeply for me, and while I know he was with friends tonight, I know he would blame himself for not being with me.
I scrubbed my body in the shower with practically every product in sight. I wanted the filth off of me. I cried and sat on the shower floor as the water hit my body. I'd been used. Maybe I should have kept my mouth shut or turned and walked the other way. I should have stayed inside to celebrate my win.
Why did this have to happen to me?
Did I deserve it?
PATTERSON MANSON (THE PRESIDENT)
"Mr. President, I have someone here to see you."
"Bring them in, Charles." I turned in my chair to see one of my Secret Service agents.
"Sir, I'm sorry to interrupt so late at night, but there has been an attack on your daughter Victoria."
I stood up from my chair, feeling great concern. "What happened to her? Is she alright?"
"She is alright, sir, but was sexually assaulted. I found the men that troubled her and took care of them. Victoria is safe for right now. What do you want us to do?"
I thought for a second before responding. My presidency probably shocked my daughter. Victoria wanted nothing to do with me, but I needed to keep her safe. If these men went after her because of my place in the office, she needed protection at all hours.
"Take four of the best agents. I want you and Oliver to go, so pick the other two wisely. Be discrete, and do not let her know you work for me."
My agent nodded and exited my office. I sank back into my chair, heartbroken for my daughter. I regretted walking out on her; I could have been her protection tonight. Why was Victoria alone, and where was her boyfriend?
TORI
My body ached as I woke up following my attack from last night. I'd felt sick and disgusted ever since, but who wouldn't? I'd burned my dress and grabbed a long T-shirt from the drawer to sleep in. I hoped Theo wouldn't mind.
