"SHE'S MY FRIEND AND SHE'S JOINING OUR CREW!" Luffy yelled with a big smile.
The strawhats blinked.
"HUH!?"
Willow stared at the Strawhats.
They stared back.
As the wind howled and the rain pelted down on them, the small pirate crew glanced between their idiot Captain and the strange little girl. Luffy was grinning like a fool and she innocently smiled at them with big doe eyes. The Strawhats didn't know what to think.
"So Luffy. . . She's your friend?" Nami questioned.
"YUP!"
"What's her name?" Zoro asked.
"Eh, I don't know."
"HOW CAN YOU BE FRIENDS IF YOU DON'T EVEN KNOW HER NAME?!" Usopp yelled.
"Hey, what's your name?" Luffy suddenly squatted in front of the little Sparrow and asked in a nonchalant tone.
"REALLY!?" The whole crew yelled with teeth bared.
The little Sparrow blinked at him. As much as she trusted him and the others, she didn't feel like telling them her full name yet.
She didn't want to scare them away.
But then again, they wouldn't know about famous Pirates on the Grand Line. . . Would they?
Still, she didn't want to risk it.
"Hey, so what is it?" Luffy pressed.
I haven't told anyone my name. . .
"Huh? That's weird! Is it a stupid sounding name or something?" Luffy tilted his head.
It's not!
"So just tell me your name!"
The strawhats watched their exchange in bewilderment and concern. Not once did the little girl open her mouth to speak and yet their Captain was chatting away with her like it was normal.
"Luffy. . . She didn't say anything," Zoro raised an eyebrow at him.
"Huh? You guys can't hear her?" He turned to them.
