~Chapter 5~
--Gem's POV--
The next morning I went to Drae's house. I had to know what was wrong with him. When I got there I knocked on the door. Drae answered.
"Come in", he said. I walked inside.
"We gotta talk", I said.
"Okay let's talk".
"Somewhere private", I said. We went up to his room.
"Better?", Drae asked.
"Much", I said.
"Now what did you want to talk about?", He asked.
"About why you were such an ass last night", I said.
"I'm worried, Gem", He said.
"About what?", I asked.
"You", He said.
"Why are you worried about me?".
"What if your pregnant".
"I'm not pregnant. And to prove it, I'll take a test".
"Okay".
"Good?".
"Good", Drae confirmed. We left his room and went downstairs. I walked into the bathroom, locking the door. I stared at myself in the mirror. Then I slowly lifted up my shirt. There can't possibly be a baby in there. No, there isn't. I unlocked the door and left the bathroom.
"You hungry?", Drae asked.
"No".
"Okay. I have to ask you something", He said.
"What?", I asked.
"I know this house is small, but would you like to move in with me?", Drae asked.
"Yah, I'd love too", I said.
"The house is small, but we'll find one on our own. This is our step before marriage", Drae said.
"Marriage?", I asked confused.
"I'm sorry. I didn't ask you. After we graduate would you like to get married?", Drae asked.
"Drae, summer is way too soon. And I'd like to go to college", I said.
"I'm sorry, but still would you like to move in?", He asked again.
"Yes. Let me leave and get my stuff", I said. I left Drae's house and got in my car. I started to the Drug Store.
