I held the phone to my ear, feeling a mix of frustration and resignation.
"Jungkook, how is she doing? Is she settling in well?" my dad asked.
"She's okay, Dad. Tired but managing," I answered.
"I need you to help her with her work and make sure she learns and adapts."
"I'll take care of it," I said, trying to keep my frustration in check. "I'll make sure she’s well taken care of dad."
"This is important, Jungkook. She needs our support."
"I understand, Dad. Don’t worry," I replied ending the call with a sigh. It was dad wanting to know about his niece's whereabouts and health. But the most important thing Dad had asked me to do was to guide her in her work and help her.
Sure, Dad, I’ll take good care of your niece, I thought sarcastically. I’ll take such a good care of her that she’ll beg you dad to send her back to Switzerland.

He heard footsteps approaching and looked up to see Y/N coming towards him. Her face looked tired and exhausted. Did she not eat? Jungkoook thought. He had told Jia to give her food after she cleaned the cowshed. But then again, it wasn’t his concern. "Whatever" he murmured shrugging the little concern his heart felt somewhere seeing her in this condition.
As she stood in front of him, Jungkook's nose wrinkled in disgust and he uttered. "What’s that smell? It’s disgusting!! Are you dumb? Why didn’t you take a bath?"
Y/N looked down, avoiding his eyes. "I-I’m sorry, Jungkook. I didn’t have time. I was cleaning the cowshed and feeding the cows, and Jia told me you called, so I came here straight."
"Just go take a bath first," he dismissed her. "Then come back here. I’ll have another task for you."
She nodded and turned to leave from there, but stopped on her steps when she heard Jungkook struggling with his wheelchair. She turned back and saw the button of the wheelchair was broken, and he was trying to move the wheelchair with his hands.
"Ah, damn it!! This chair!!" he cursed under his breath. She noticed and, without a second thought and word, came up behind him and started to push the wheelchair chair.
"HEY!! STO-PP.. W-What are you doing?" he shouted, frustrated trying to remove her hands from the wheelchair handles. "Don’t..don't you dare touch me, 𝙔𝙤𝙪 𝙛𝙞𝙡𝙩𝙝𝙮 𝙬𝙤𝙢𝙖𝙣!!"
She stopped for a moment, listening to his hurtful words and echoing in her mind, her eyes filled with pain. Then, without responding back a word, she slightly cleaned her hands on her jeans and continued pushing the chair.
Despite his protests and continuous shout, she kept pushing him inside. As she did, a single tear fell from her eye and landed on his shoulder, making him flinch. The moment he realised it, a pang of guilt hit him.
But his ego was too big that wouldn't let him soften for a moment. He had to make her leave, no matter what, and had to to reveal her true nature. 𝘛𝘩𝘢𝘵'𝘴 𝘸𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘩𝘦 𝘣𝘦𝘭𝘪𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘥.
Jia and another maid were by the dining area, arranging the food in table shocked to see Y/N pushing Jungkook’s wheelchair while he sat silently. Jia thought, "Didn't younger sir hate Her?" But she didn’t dare to voice out her thoughts infront of her younger sir jeon.
