AUTHOR POV ~
KHS, Seoul.Y/N and her teacher, Ms. Haneul, walked to the Principal's office. After getting permission, they stepped inside. Mr. Lee Hajoon, an elderly man in his late fifties was sitting at his desk, going through some school files.
"Good morning, sir" Ms. Haneul said politely, bowing.Mr. Lee looked up from his papers and replied, "Morning, Ms. Haneul. Go ahead." Then he turned to Y/N a bit of sarcasm in his voice.
"Welcome again Ms. Kang. So… what have you done this time?" Y/N rolled her eyes and replied "Ask her," pointing at her teacher. Ms. Haneul was a little shocked by her rude behavior and thought to herself, "She really has no manners."
Y/N noticed and said with a smirk "Don't be surprised, new teacher. This is like my second home." She added sarcastically
"Right, Mr. Oldy?" Mr. Lee's face darkened. He slammed his hand on the desk and snapped, "Behave yourself Y/N."
"Whatever" she muttered, rolling her eyes and ignoring both the principal and teacher she walked over to the couches in the corner, dropped her bag on the floor sighed and sat down. She picked up a Rubik's cube from the glass table and began playing with it.
Mr. Lee let out a long sigh and looked back at Ms. Haneul who started explaining what had happened in the school corridor.
After listening carefully Mr. Lee groaned rubbed his temples, and closed his eyes for a moment to calm down. Then he picked up the office phone and dialed a number to call someone.
JK POV~
After getting the call, I rushed to the university parking lot where my car was parked. I pulled the keys from my back pocket, unlocked the door, started the engine, and drove straight toward her school.
The call was from her principal - once again, she had caused trouble.
It wasn't the first time she had gotten into a fight. In fact, she had a talent for it.Y/N was the daughter of my father's best friend, and she was probably the most stubborn person I had ever met in my life.
The only child of Mr. Kang Daehyun, a Businessman, and Mrs. Kang Seoyun, a fashion designer, she came from one of the richest families in Korea. Her parents were well known for their kindness and generosity. But since they were often traveling for business, they had asked me to take care of their daughter and keep her out of trouble.
When I reached the school, I parked the car stepped out, and walked straight to the principal's office.
Inside, Mr. Lee was busy with paperwork, while she sat on the couch, playing with a cube, looking completely uninterested in what was happening around her.
"Stubborn kid," I muttered under my breath.I knocked on the door to make my presence known. Mr. Lee looked up and gave me a small smile. I bowed respectfully, and he motioned for me to sit. I nodded and took the seat in front of his neatly arranged desk.
"Hello, Mr. Jungkook," the principal said. "Sorry to call you again, but today Ms. Kang got herself into quite a mess." He looked straight at me as he explained the situation.
Y/N had physically attacked a classmate Kim Mina, daughter of Dr. Kim Yeong, a well-known doctor in Seoul.
If Dr. Kim found out, it could damage Mr. Kang's reputation and cause major trouble for his business. The frustration on the principal's face was clear.
Y/N hadn't said a single word since I walked in. That was unusual. Was she feeling guilty? I wondered for a moment… but then shook the thought away. She never admitted her mistakes.
