AUTHOR POV~
As Y/N woke up from a good nap, she blinked her eyes open and looked around frowning slightly. She clearly remembered falling asleep while sitting so how did she end up on the sofa? Confused she sat up and glanced around the room, instantly looking for Jungkook. Her feet carried her towards the kitchen and there she found him -busy cooking.
"Jungkook, what are you doing?" she asked, her voice still laced with sleep.
He turned to her with a smile. "Y/N just wait a minute. Lunch is almost done. I will bring it to the dining table. You go freshen up" he said gently dismissing her before she could say anything more.
After a while, they both sat together at the dining table. Y/N had a lot on her mind- why were they here, how long would they stay, and when would they return? All those questions swirled in her head, but Jungkook seemed completely at ease in this peaceful far from the chaos. Unlike her, he actually seemed to enjoy being here with her.
He calmly plated the food and slid dish in front of her. "Eat everything" he said with a small smile. She rolled her eyes at his tone but didn't argue hunger overpowered curiosity, so she decided to keep all her questions aside for now and began eating.
" Here" he said suddenly.holding out a spoonful of food toward her.
Y/N blinked surprised. Her eyes widened what's wrong with him today? She stared at the spoon hesitating. When she didn't move, He gently insisted again. Finally she leaned in and took the bite. Just as she was processing that strange moment he scooped up another spoonful. But before he could feed her again she quickly said "I'll eat. You should eat too."
Jungkook chuckled softly nodding, and began eating his meal.
Once they finished he carried the plates to the sink and started doing the dishes. He didn't let her lift a finger but Y/N being herself still joined him. And Jungkook, though he usually didn't like her helping him couldn't say no to his sunshine.
"Jungkook" she began just as they finished cleaning up. Before she could continue he handed her a sleek new box. Her brows furrowed in confusion.
"It's for you" he said casually. "Your phone broke. It's important you have one of your own. I've already saved all the family members number." She nodded slowly and took the phone still processing his gesture. But he wasn't done yet. He passed her a bag next.
"I asked Isuel to pack some of your clothes. You should take a bath and freshen up. I'm here if you need anything just call me" he added dismissing her gently but firmly.
He already knew what she wanted to ask and that's why he was keeping her busy giving her no chance to question him. After choosing her clothes, Y/N decided to take a bath. But just as she was about to go, she realized something she didn't even know which room was hers. She turned around to ask Jungkook, but he was not in the living room anymore. She looked around the house calling his name softly but got no reply. After checking the kitchen hallway, and the nearby rooms, she sighed and decided to check the terrace.
As she stepped onto the terrace a soft breeze brushed past her. The sun was beginning to set painting the sky with soft orange and pink shades. There was a peaceful silence broken only by the sound of leaves rustling and birds chirping in the distance.
Jungkook stood there his back facing her hands resting on the railing. He was quietly admiring the view of the calm lake and the green mountains far away.
She smiled a little seeing him like that peaceful lost in nature. For a moment she forgot why she came up. But then she walked closer to him and cleared her throat gently. Jungkook turned around a soft beautiful smile forming on his face as his eyes met hers. He looked at her for a moment, as if he was memorizing her features.
