"I hate scary movies. I should be studying-you know I got a bio due." Maureen, a college student, no more than eighteen, distastefully said to her boyfriend, Phil. The couple were in line at an old looking movie theatre. They were off to see STAB, a movie based off the events that occurred in Woodsboro last year.

"Baby, did I mention that these tickets were free?" Phil said, trying to convince her but she wasn't having any of it. "Sandra Bullock is playing right down the street." She argued back. "Nobody wanna pay $7.50 to see some Sandra Bullock shit...unless she naked." He scoffed. Maureen turned to him. "Oh, but you will sit through a movie called STAB."

Phil wrapped his arm around Maureen's shoulder and directed her as the line moved up. "It's adrenaline, Maureen, it's good to be scared. It's primal. You know what I'm saying?"

"No, I'm gonna tell you what it is, okay? It's a dumb-ass white movie about some dumb-ass white girls gettin' their white asses cut the fuck up, okay?" Phil shook his head while chuckling to himself. "Yeah, I suppose Sandra Bullock is Miss Ethnicity, right?" He retorted. "Well no, all I'm saying is that the horror genre is historical for excluding the African - American element." Phil couldn't believe what he was hearing.

"When the hell did you get your PHD in black cinema, Sister Souljah?"

"Listen, I read my Entertainment Weekly, okay? I know my shit."Maureen defended herself. Maureen and Phil finally reached the box office where they presented their tickets. "Yeah Maureen, I read my Black Beat too, homey. Tonight we're going to have an all-black movie, all-black cast, all-black wardrobe, black eyes. Everything. Black-eyed Peas. Black cats." Phil rambled on.

As the two passed the front doors, they saw an usher who was randomly handing out ghost masks. "What's this?" Maureen asked the usher. "STAB souvenirs, the studio sent them." She replied politely. "Hah! And it's white." Maureen mockingly said while turning to Phil. "Thanks." She said while giving the souvenir back to the usher but Phil took it.

~ Minutes Later ~

As the young couple walked in, they were shocked at how many people were actually in there. The small cinema was almost full to the brim and most, if not all, of the people were dressed in black drapes and had a pasty white ghost mask on. A young girl whizzed by them while being chased by someone who had a ghost mask on. "Kill! Kill! Kill!"

Maureen gave Phil an unimpressed look. "Very romantic..." The two moved down an aisle, looking for two available seats as the lights dimmed. Maureen and Phil found two empty seats at the front. Everyone around them screamed as they couldn't contain their excitement any longer.

Maureen looked behind her at the rest of the audience. The theatre was full of people who were wearing the same ghost mask that Phil had.

The movie began to play. It started with a house located in the middle of nowhere. The house was lit up like a christmas tree. Inside the large house was a young girl who was getting ready for a shower.

"Now why she gotta be naked? What does that have to do with the plot of the story, her being butt-ass naked?" Maureen complained which made Phil chuckle. "I don't know about the plot, but I got a stiff one." The girl shot her boyfriend an unimpressed look. "You better loosen up that wrist."

In the movie, the phone began to ring which stopped the blonde girl from getting in the shower. She grabbed the bathrobe and threw it over herself and headed into the direction of the living room. As the girl turned her back, a masked figure could be seen at the window.
