Aakriti's POV
After having dinner with my family I am having a date with the love of my life in my leisure time and a huge grin is adorning my face while looking at my love, the latest romantic novel of my collection in my hands.
I have just finished reading it and it was so worth it. It has won my heart for sure.
"Mahadev... I also deserve a fictional man, so when will I find my dream guy?" I exclaim with a dreamy sigh
Abhay's POV
I entered the mansion and headed straight to my room.
After a shower, I entered the room and and heard a knock on the door and Maa was standing on the other side, I made way for her to enter...
We settled on the bed and she patted my cheek lovingly
"Abhay, are you worried due to Panditji's words?" She asked and I instantly looked at her as if asking her 'how did she know?'"
Maa understood my unsaid question and further continued,"Panditji called me after talking to you and....." She drifted off
"And....?" I urged her to continue.
"What did Panditji exactly tell you?" She questioned back
"He just said that Tanya and I are not meant to be" I responded back
"Beta I know that you don't believe in these things and this is contemporary era but you are going to become the King. Henceforth, you have to do many things and take numerous decisions against your will" She said in a gentle and worried tone
" If you marry Tanya and people come to know about the prophecy, so people would lose their faith from you, Son and they will regard you as a selfish ruler"she continued
I nodded my head contemplating her words
"Beta, will you please fulfill one wish of mine?" Maa asked me
"Yes maa" I responded immediately
"Do you remember that girl who was there in temple and handled Tanya? "Maa asked me and I nodded my head being confused as I couldn't understand why Maa was asking me about her
"Abhay, we want you to marry her"
"Maa... But what about Tanya and her family?" I was trying to convince her that it was not a good idea and asked her after contemplating the situation in hand in my mind
"We will talk to Tanya's family but first you talk to Tanya" And she went out while I sat there with a hard expression...
The turn of the events in these past few days didn't sit well with me
I heard my phone ringing and saw Tanya's name flashing on the screen and saw Tanya's name and I picked up the call after releasing a sigh
Tanya's cheerful voice greeted me from the other side and we talked causally for few minutes but eventually she sensed my lack of interest in the rendezvous
"Don't worry Abhay, Panditji has told me everything and I guess it is better if we part ways on a good note"
" You know about it? "I asked her
" No... I just predicted it out of nowhere"she remarked teasingly
" Abhay don't think much I don't have any problem and as far as I know you, you would also be fine but just concerned about my reaction... But I completely assure you that I am ready for it but I want us to meet for one last time... Can you do that for me? "She started with a calm voice but her voice broke at the end
" Okay Tanya, can we meet during evening? "
" Yeah Abhay.. bye... Good night" she wished me and I told her to take care of herself
