Aakriti's POV
Day of the party
I came home early today as we had to go to the party today in which I didn't want to go
How I wished that I could skip this day... But I couldn't do anything and I got ready for the party I went down stairs and saw the atrocious man due to whom I had to go unwillingly
I got all ready in my attire and maa, badi maa and papa praised me and I thanked them
"Bhabhi, you are looking like an angel. People would really have a hard time seeing an Angel with this devil" Aditya bhaiya complimented me while looking at him but he did not pay any heed
The whole ride passed in silence and I was about to move out when we reached the venue but he took me by surprise by opening the door for me
"Don't be so surprised. I have just done it so that people don't come to know about the terms of our relationship" I got annoyed after hearing his words as if I was expecting more from him
I know our relationship is not good enough and it can never be I have not forgotten about those pictures and he has never bothered to tell me the truth neither his behaviour can be justified and not the way he blackmailed me to enter into this marriage
"Now stay her. No need to accompany me further and don't you dare to go out of this venue" he said and started to move away
" Excuse me?! It was not me who was dying to accompany you here. You are the only one who was persistent about the matter. You can't leave me all alone" I said to him
I won't let him walk all over me.
What does he think of himself? And what does he think of me? I am not a door mat and he should better know that
"Aakriti, you are forgetting something, aren't you?" he said with a dangerous glint in his eyes and I understood the hidden meaning behind his words as his threat from the initial days of our marriage echoed in the back of my mind
"It's better to stand here then accompanying a man who is so persistent that he just relies on threats to fulfil his eccentric wishes" I said and he went away without sparing me a glance
I was just sitting in a corner lost in my thoughts but then a thought crossed my mind that I should not spoil my mood due to that idiot I should enjoy my time. Why should I waste my time over him?
"Huhhh... Jhamoore, Chhacchundar, naashpeete, ghanchakkar, bewkoof aadmi, dimaag ke rogi, jhoothi ainth wale ghamandi" I cursed him in my mind while huffing
(Mole, stupid, mentally retarded, sick man)
I was having my food while looking around and people were dancing sophisticatedly
Just rich people things, I guess
Suddenly the lights dimmed and soft romantic song started playing and couples started spilling on the dance floor
I was looking at them but one pair caught my eye instantly and I widened my eyes
Prisha's POV
I was irritated as I had to accompany my boss to this boring party.
I had recently started a job and my boss is an inspiration but she had asked me to accompany her to this party
We entered the venue and I was following her after greeting some influential business personalities
"Prisha, there is someone I want you to meet and I know you handle yourself well enough but try to be on your best behaviour in front of him as I really want our companies to work together in the near future" ma'am said and I nodded my head positively and promised her that I would try my best
"Here comes the one I was talking to you about" my boss whispered and I turned around to look at the person she was referring to
