Chapter-21

Aakriti's POV

"I have to go to a party overmorrow and you have to accompany me" the jerk
said to me in a bored tone

"Not interested." I replied monotonously

"I am not asking you, I am telling you" he said while eying me from mirror

"Do whatever you want but I am not coming with you." I replied and he did not say anything and went out while I did a small victory dance and scoffed while gazing at his retreating figure while celebrating my victory

We all were sitting in the dining hall while having our breakfast

"Maa, badi maa and papa I have to go to a party overmorrow. Also, someone would have to accompany me there" he stated while looking at everyone and I went still as I realised his tactics

"No problem, take Aakriti with you. Baccha,do you have any problem?" Maa said to him and later turned towards me while asking me

"No maa" I replied as I couldn't deny her and everyone got busy in having their breakfast.

I got agitated after seeing that fool smirking from the corner of my eye

I was going out of the mansion and saw him coming behind me but I avoided him and continued descending the stairs

"Aww... Is someone angry? What were you saying? I won't accompany you. w
What happened to your resolution now, it vanished in thin air?" he asked while smirking

"I swear to God, your lips would  permanently turn on a side if you will smirk like that all the time" I said being irritated by shaking my head nonchalantly

"trying to change the topic to protect your ego, aren't you?" He retorted

"Ego ki dukaan" he continued

"You arrogance ki factory, attitude ka karkhana and kabadkhana" I retorted back while glaring at him

He did not react and we went towards our separate cars

Next day

It is Sunday today and I thought of having a date with my pillow as I was helping badi maa and maa in the morning and now we all have decided to take rest for a while

Maa and badi maa resisted me many times to not assist them in the chores

They wanted me to take complete rest today but I finally convinced them by emotionally blackmailing them

I went to my room to have a date with my pillow

Evening

I am sitting in a shop in the mall while keeping my palm on my cheek and with a frown on my face as this jerk is also with me as I requested papa to ask him to accompany me to the mall for shopping when maa asked me to buy a dress for theparty

But seems like the plan backstabbed me as I couldn't enjoy even a bit of my shopping spree due to him

He did not even let me go to my favourite shop and dragged me here to this lavish Store

The dresses here are quite pretty but each dress is so expensive as if I am purchasing whole factory of garments

And on top of that, the sales women are busy in checking out this jerk beside me rather than doing their job

I am not getting jealous, I am just irritated that they are not doing their  work

"He is so dashing! I really wish I get a husband like him" one of them said while looking at my husband with heart struck eyes

"Reh kar dekh aise bande ke saath toh pata chalega" I mumbled while rolling my eyes and this jerk was looking at me weirdly

But I ignored him and continued looking at the dresses myself as the saleswomen had more important task in their plates
